Chapter 18: Investigating & Clubbing

Lucy's P.O.V

"Ah!" Marie shouted and both I and V put our guns down, instantly. Basically, we were sleeping and then I heard some shuffling and then my agent side came out so then I woke V up which by the way wasn’t an easy thing and then we were on alert and as soon as the door opened we pointed our gun at the 'criminal' which we now know was Marie.

"Girls! What is wrong with you, you almost gave me a heart attack" Marie exclaimed and we sheepishly put our guns down.

"Well you shouldn’t have been sneaking in our room, you know how paranoid we are" V said to her to which she playfully glared at us but then she grinned and we raised our eye brows at each other before turning back to her.

"There's someone here to meet you" She said grinning mischievously. Just as I was about to ask who, someone jumped from behind Marie and guess who it was?

Chris!!!!

Both I and V jumped out of the bed on top of him. We both were screaming on top of our lungs and he was just laughing. Chris was a good-looking buff kinda man, he had the body of a pro wrestler but despite all of that he was the most caring, sensitive, emotional man you'd ever see.

"When'd you come here?" I asked him after we all had settled around our room.

"Well, about an hour ago" he said and V looked at him.

"Details please" she said and he chuckled.

"Chief sent me here, he said you both aren’t focusing and that it would be better if I was with you guys" he said and my eyes widened.

"So that means…." I left the sentence hanging and he smiled at me.

"I will be living with you guys from now on" he completed my sentence and both me and V tackled him shouting 'Yes!'

"Gosh! You guys are getting heavy" he said with a hint of smirk and we just stuck our tongue out at him.

"Okay, both of you freshen up, have your breakfast and then do whatever it is that you wanna do" Marie said and was about to walk out when V stopped her.

"Marie, Where's Luke?" V asked her and Marie turned around with this knowing smile.

"He's at Zach's house; they both usually study together for every exam" Marie replied before walking out the door. The school gives the seniors like a week before exams for all the preparation. After doing our usual routine, we both went down and the same time Chris came out from the guest room; probably his room now.

"So you know there's something we have to talk about" he said slinging his arms over mine and V's shoulder.

"About what?" V asked.

"You'll know" he said smirking before going to sit on the table where Marie was placing the breakfast. I looked to V who was already looking at me questioningly.

Guess we'll just have to find about it later. We all sat around the table and started eating. Half way through breakfast Marie cleared her throat. I looked up the same time V did.

"So girls, Duke asked me to talk about something with you both as he is not here" Marie said and we looked at her patiently to continue.

"Well I heard something about you dating Zach" she said and just as she did I started coughing like crazy and instead of helping me, V sat across from me laughing her ass off. I glared at her. After the coughing was under control I looked at Marie, then at Chris and then at V begging her to help. She rolled her eyes and shrugged. Bitch!
