Chapter 32: Mr. And Mrs. Andrew

Lucy’s P.O.V

“We can’t choose…”

“You don’t have to” El said with firmness in her voice. All of us looked at her.

“I have a plan” She said and V came and sat on the couch with me, she looked tired and I’m sure I wasn’t looking any better either. I can’t even remember the last time I actually slept. Or ate anything. Okay now I’m hungry. Shut up Lucy, this isn’t the time, scolding myself I tuned in the conversation.

“And that would be?” Alyosha asked his Russian accent thick.

“I go save Luke and Zach and Vanessa and Lucy can go to Duke and the others. The way he’s planned it he probably thinks each one of you will go to each one of the places, you both are weak which gives him an advantage he can easily take you both out but if you’re together you’ll still have a chance. We can save all of them” She says but V and I both shake our heads.

“No!” I said.

“You’re crazy if you think we’ll let you go alone anywhere” V said and I nodded agreeing with her.

“I’m not a child; I’m capable of protecting myself. If you’re forgetting let me remind you I’m an FBI agent I have dealt with this before” She said.

“No you haven’t. Don’t you see El! This man has been able to ruin everything for us, everything. We’re not gonna let you walk in there alone. You aren’t going anywhere. You aren’t risking your life” I said fervently.

“Guys I can handle it-“ She was saying but V cut her off.

“Shut up El! We can’t willingly let you walk in there knowing something will happen to you, do you even see us, do you see what this bastard is capable of. We can’t put you in danger too” V said just as fiercely as me. But El was just as stubborn as us.

“You called me here so I could help you-“

“And you did” V said but it only angered El more.

“Are you even aware of what is happening?! If I don’t go there is no way we can save all of them. Are you seriously going to save my life and risk theirs?” She asked and V went silent. I was too before I looked back at her.

“Yes” I said and everyone looked at me shocked.

“With them, we’re not sure if we’ll be able to save them or not. But with you… we can save you El. You don’t have to do this. And even if we save them now he’ll try to kill them sometime later. He will keep trying unless we don’t kill him and with the way things are going I’m not sure that’s happening anytime soon. Don’t risk your life for us” I said tears brimming my eyes.

“Lucy…” She looked at me sadly.

“I can’t lose you too” I said and I was instantly enveloped in a hug by her.

“You won’t lose me” El whispered and I sniffled.

“I don’t wanna take any chances or risks” I said to her.

“You’re worried about her going alone, what if someone went with her?” Viktor said and El and I parted away looking at him. El’s face brightened and I also started pondering the thought of her going with someone. Like she said she is an FBI agent…
