I look out at the dusty cracked window of my "room". I had just gotten home from a tireless day of work and the encounter of the prince, at least I think it is the prince.

I look out from my window and see the ocean tide flowing back and forth as the full moon shines through the sky. In our 2 story house (if you count the attic as a floor)there were 4 rooms.

My mom gets here own room; the master bedroom. My stepsister gets two rooms and the last one was the guest room.

We never have guest over, the guest room is just more space for me to tidy.

I sleep in the attic, floor that was always overrun with mice and rats, and worst off all Spiders.

The thought of the nasty little creators is enough to run shivers through my spine. I could feel their sticky legs crawl up my arm. I force my stop to stop thinking about them and focus on something else.

My mind does a quick calculation through my thoughts and settles on a thought, or a person I may say.

My brain decided to start thinking about him, the prince, the Percy. The little nasty guinea pig sitting in the corner.

I had a million questions about him.

"Why did he come to the city?'', "Why did he meet me?". "Why do guinea pigs like vegetables?"

All my questions were overrun by this picture, a simple picture of his face.

His dark black hair, his lean muscular body, and most of all those big sea green seal eyes, that I couldn't take my mind off of.

I shook my head in disgust, why him, why are my thoughts always on him? I needed to do something to take my mind off of him.

He is a prince, I am a pauper there is no way we could be together. I took out my cloak from my almost empty "closet" and I slowly creped down the stairs.

The old wooden planks creaked with the echo in in the house it seemed 10 times louder. I didn't want to Wake up my stepmother and sister or they will punish me.

I will have to scrub the floors Until my hands bleed. After my hands bleed I will have to scrub for another 5 hours. Why did father rely on me to run this family?

I found my way outside and untied the old mule that was tied to a single fence post. I saddled on my family's only animal, he was with us since I was a little kid taking me to the city on his back.

I pulled the cloak hood over my blond hair and rode off to the city for a night time ride. Or as you call it a midnight adventure.

I got to the city park and tied my horse on a nearby tree. Even at late at night there was many people there on the benches or in the grass kissing in the full moon under the stars.
