I never lived a life full of death, disgusting drama, nor agony. Just jewels, frilly ballgowns, headpieces. Nothing but a luxurious life in the 836's. But how the fuck did I end up in the Trainee Corp? Simple: I hate my damned life.

Shouldn't I be out going drunk with stupid Marleyans'? Or maybe go join my father slaughter some innocent Eldians?

My father, being a ruthless commander in the government. And a mother, who is insanely rich. And me, daughter of a damned whore and a sinful slaughterer. I want to get away from these stupid people in my life. So I decided to join the Trainee Corp. Here it is, Today's the day of our first meeting.

I freshen up as I get dressed in the uniform of the Trainee Corp. I took one last glance on a mirror in an individual dorm I'm assigned in, since there was no one left to fill in this room. I walk calmly to the assigned area where the induction is held.

Seems like everyone's here.

I casually walk to an empty space between some other cadets who seem to have faces of fear and nervousness. I fixed my posture, held both of my arms and folded it on my back, and made a face as stoic as possible. "Today, the 88th Trainee Squad has been introduced to the Trainee Corp!" A somewhat intimidating commander yelled as he stood on a wooden platform. He stepped down the platform and approached a row full of shivering cadets, obviously terrified.

"State your name and residence, Cadet!" The furious looking man yelled at a man. The tall cadet saluted casually and said; "Mike Zacharias, Sir. From Wall Rose.". The man simply nodded and looked for his next 'victim'. Surprisingly, he went to a row where I'm in. He stood in front of me as I remain my face emotionless. "Your name and residence." The man said. I saluted in determination and spoke up calmly. "(F/N) (L/N), Sir. From Wall Sina. Sir." I said with ease. After that, whispers started to ring.

With that, he left my sight. "Your name and residence, Blondie!" He yelled at a man in front of him, about 4 inches taller than me. "Erwin Smith, Sir! From Wall Rose, Sir!" He said with such a voice of bravery. "Erwin Smith..." I muttered.

His last name, Smith? He's a relative to..?

I looked straight as the commander moved on to the next person. "You, The one with shitty glasses!" He insulted. The woman in glasses smiled as she saluted. "Hange Zoe, Sir! From Wall Rose!" She said with a normal tone as her glasses gave off a reflection. Commander nods again and moves on.

Today is lunch and everyone casually eats the food provided by the cooks in this cafeteria. I took my tray with food and scanned the room for an empty table. There are only a range from thirty to fifty amount o cadets in the room and the cafeteria basically has more than sixty tables. I finally found a vacant table and approached it. I set my tray of food on the table and sat down on a chair that lengths the table.

I quietly chow down on my food. Until someone stands up across me with a tray of their own. "H-Hiya!! I'm Hange! Can I... Sit here?" She asked. More like a beg, though. "Go ahead." I said in a monotonous voice. She hissed a "Yes!" and sat down excitedly. She began eating her food.

She cleared her throat as she socializes. "You're (F/N), Right?" She asked. I nod as I bite on a loaf of bread. "Well nice to meet you, (F/N)! I'm Hange-" I cut her off as I butt in. "I already know your name, You don't have to remind me." I said with a hint of annoyance. Hange frowned in embarrassment and continued munching on her food. Just as when another person walks in.

"(F/N)." A familiar voice of a man let out.

"Nile Dok." I spat out. "E-Eh? You know each other?" Hange asked as she looks back and forth at you and Nile. "We're in the same residence." He hissed. He then sat down with his own tray of food beside Hange.

Great. Just fucking great. More annoyance, Just what I fucking need.

I growled at my sarcasm.

And here goes a man I suspect the most; Erwin Smith.

"May I sit here? All the tables out there are packed." He said in a hint of shyness. I nod hesitantly and then he sits next to me. I sigh and continue to eat on my food. "So, (F/N). Why did you choose to join the military?" Nile asked.

Ugh. Him and his ugly curiosity.

The people on our table looked at me as I remained silent. A shadow casts on the upper part of my face by my hair. "Please stay out of it." I spat with venom laced in my voice.

Just in time, I finished my food. I got up with the tray of empty food and left the scene, leaving them stunned.

"What's up with her..?" Nile huffed as he continues eating his food. "Is she always like this??" Hanji asked as she raises a finger to her chin. "Yes. But not this harsh..." He muttered. "Should I go get her?" Erwin said as he was about to stand up. "She doesn't want anyone especially in that state. So I'd suggest you back up.." Nile sighed. Erwin sat down properly and continued eating.
