The soothing chirps of birds fill my ears as it slowly took me to awakening. I squinted lightly at the brightness of the room.

My eyes landed at an open door of my bathroom. There, Erwin came out of that room, all dressed up. His hair still messy and in need of styling, his scent is the usual perfume I gifted back when he was promoted to commander.

I exhale as I soften my gaze as he approached me. He knelt down and smiled, "Good morning." before giving a soft kiss on my forehead. "Good morning.." I whisper as I pulled the sheets higher to cover my face going red as he chuckled and stood back up as he went to get a small container of pomade,, does he bring that around with him all the time???

I gathered my concentration and strength to start the day as I sat up and swung my legs off the bed. I approached my closet to gather the needed clothes for the day, heading to the bathroom where Erwin is at. I was about to reach out to lock the door but..

"Erwin..? could you.. style your hair somewhere else.." Blush crept up on my face and so did Erwin's. "O-Of course— This is your bathroom we're talking about.." He said, clearing his throat nervously as he politely walks out with his hair-styling supplies. Such a gentleman.

I sigh to myself, smiling.

God he's everything.

I continued my business by undressing to take a shower, then changing into my clothes. Consciously unlocking the door, I click the doorknob open, as I put on my undergarments, brushed my teeth, and dried my hair with a towel. I slung in my pants and button-down shirt and such. Erwin eventually came in and smiled as I smiled back and start buckling the belt across my chest. I took the pill case from the shelf beside my mirror, and took a few pills and chugged down the water.

He snaked his arms around my waist and squeezed me onto his sturdy body. I blush furiously as I then started securing the top harness, him burying his face to the certain part between my neck and shoulders and felt him breathe closely.

"Let's stay like this." He nuzzled further into the crook of my neck, me gulping. "We both know clearly that we have work today,," I sigh, chuckling as I finished buckling every belt that needs to be secured. I gently push him off of me as I sling on the piece of uniform with the embroidered wings of freedom.

"Run off now,, sooner or later everyone will quote you as missing." I joke as I face him and threw a light punch at his chest. "Alright alright.. I'll take my leave. Thanks for the night." He smiled warmly and kissed my forehead before leaving out the room, hearing my office door clicking it's doorknob to open and close after.

I sigh again deeply as I finish off everything and do my morning chores right before fixing my desk and more office stuff. Before heading to do more small errands aorund the office, I felt a cough about to rise off my mouth again. I rushed for a napkin and immediately brought it to my lips, then it meeting my bloody coughs. "Ugh." I grit my teeth after before crumpling it and throwing it to an exposed trashcan. I looked at the window to check the time. "It seems sunny today." I turn my back away from the sun and got myself morning tea and bread. As I soon've realized that today's going to be another day with no thrill, I decided to kill some time with some paperwork that had no deadlines and had been collecting dust for a while.

As soon as I've brought the pen come in contact with the paper, someone bursts through the door and I mentally sigh.

Seriously, do they even know what 'knock' means???

"C... Captain...!" One of my male underlings pant, trying to regain his normal pace of breathing.

"S-Squad Leader Hanji,, needs... your presence.. as soon as possible..!" After finally passing the word, he immediately stood straight and bowed before rushing out the room with a bang in the door of closure.

Now that looked really serious.

I sigh as I put my pen down and stood up swiftly to grab my jacket and head out. I fasten my pace of walking as I head to the horse stables and get my horse to Hanji's usual designated location.

After a few walks ahead the legion's scientist's office,

"So why did you call me here?" The already unamused captain tapped her shoe onto the wooden floor, giving a small creak every time one of them shift a position either from a seat or while standing up. "You studied about titans too, right? Weren't you schooled at home to be taught things like that?" Hanji asked abruptly, leaving (F/N) nothing but to blink and squint her eyes. "...Yes..? Why do you ask??" She tilted her head, furrowing her eyebrows in pure loss.

Hanji, pacing around the room with a mind about to burst with rants and spiels. Before speaking, she stopped in her tracks to face her. "Earlier... Eren transformed into a titan." She said, in a tone with a blank expression. (F/N)'s eyes immediately went wide, choked on her breath before commenting, "Huh—" then followed by a couple coughs.

"But!! Not,, transformed transformed into a titan...! He just... summoned a gigantic titan.... hand." Hanji added, making weird hand gestures as she spoke. "I-I don't follow—" (F/N) covered her mouth, Hanji then slung herself onto her as an arm was hanging from (F/N)'s shoulder, shifting a bit to handle Hanji's weight.

"(F/N)-san!! Please help me work my magic here!!" She whined, shaking her constantly. Clearly, she will not stop this until she hears a reply. "Stop shaking me..!" (F/N) shoved Hanji off of her, then clearing her throat. "Now, tell me." She said, Hanji had her eyes lightened up and she excitedly explained everything.

Until (F/N) lifted a hand to halt her from rambling off again. "Where is cadet Jaeger now?" She asked out of nowhere, Hanji hesitated to answer first for she gave a silent thought to herself.

"He's currently in Levi's squad. What are you planning to do?" Hanji raises an eyebrow as she supported the rims of her glasses with the tip of her fingers. (F/N) kept her mouth covered, in deep thought. "I'm going to see Erwin first." With that ended, she stood up leaving no goodbye to Hanji. Hanji being left amused.

"She didn't even help me with my research..." She deadpanned and sighed.

After closing the door behind me, I couldn't think of anything else.

This could be an opportunity.

I nod to myself in agreement before starting to walk back to the horse stables.
