On my side forever

===

Ever since the time when that 'Levi' lost his beloved two comrades, Everything seems to be peaceful now. I mean, really peaceful. We were glad that we had time to pay our respects as the Corps held a funeral for the fallen soldiers.

Everything was peaceful, Until Commander Keith announced another expedition.

An expedition to try to externinate some titans on the woods outside the walls of Shiganshina District.

"Mike, I need a hand over here!" A man shouted as they bundle out some supply carts. "Heading there!" I yelled out. Here we go again, seeing the bloodshed after another. A few days left then this expedition will come, I'll just hope it becomes less bloodier.

~~~
Great. Just great..
I ran out of medicine. I stood up, not even bothering to fix the scattered papers on my desk. I throw on my coat and head outside to the clinic. I knocked before stepping in the clinic. The first thing I saw was a bloody footprint. I quickly widened my eyes as I slam the door open wide, revealing what was truly disgusting.
The doctor is dead.
I cover my nose and snapped my mouth tight from the smell, the dull eyes of the doctor staring into nothing.
Who did this? Why did they do this?
"I know what you're thinking." A voice rang in the room. I quickly looked around and found a blonde woman, hair tied back, with fair skin, dull blue eyes, and naturally vibrant-colored lips. More that caught my attention, she seems to be wearing the Military Corp uniform.
"You..!!!" I said, flashbacks pouring back. "You were one of those girls that best me up while we were in the Cadet Corp... Who..?" I tried to dig in my memories.
"The name's Traute Caven." She sighed, slowly approaching me. I took a step back. "I was ordered to kill you, and I think I'm doing my job correctly." She said, looking at the deceased man infront of her. "Oh? And how's that?" I raised a brow. "You're suffering from a disease, right?" She said bluntly, I furrowed my eyebrows and my palms started to sweat. "Look. Speak of this to no one. Leave the body, I'll clean away the evidence. Again; speak of this to no one." She made herself clear. I remained silent and nodded slowly. "Good, now if you'll excuse—" I interrupted her from doing so.
"But wait. Please." I said, emotionless.
Silence in the room began until I added. "Why the hell did you beat me up back there before?" I said, my tone slowly fuming with anger. "I just had bad vibes with you. That's all." She scoffed and then pulled out a gun. "And get out, now." She threatened, I shrugged my shoulders and turned my back, I cursed to myself.
Goddamn stupid woman..! Where do I get this hell of a rare and expensive medicine now?!
I closed the door behind me gently as I walk away from the scene, kicking a small rock on the ground as I shove my hands in the deep pockets of my coat. I sighed;
I guess I'm really left here to die..
As soon as I put a foot down on the floors of headquarters, A cadet came approaching me. "Corporal (F/N)!" Then saluting to me. "Commander Keith is calling you into his office, That is all, Ma'am." The cadet said, bowed, and left. I blinked twice before heading there quickly. I fixed myself as I knocked on the commander's door, then stepping in after a brief yell of 'come in' from the other side of the door.
I came in and Keith looked up to me as he was fiddling with his paperwork. "Ah, (F/N). I see you're back." He said, leaning back in his comfortable chair. "I was back from the clinic to pick up my medicine." I lied, I really feel bad for lying though.
"Have you told anyone about your current condition?" He asked, sounding concerned.
"No. But I intend to, after the expedition tomorrow." I said, slightly nervous. I was about to say another sentence until my disease strikes again at this time.
I started coughing softly to violently as I quickly took out my handkerchief and shoved it to my lips as Keith stood up from his seat and held me by the forearms. My legs feel weak, I'm been sweating so much.
I felt like the colors on my face start to fade away. But thankfully, All these simmered down as I slowly remove the handkerchief from my lips and looked at it. "Corporal (F/N), Can you still make it tomorrow?" The concerned commander asked. "I can go with it, these don't usually happen." I smile slightly and Keith nods. "Very well then, see you tomorrow." He said, kind of hesitant. I nod and walked out, still coughing as I closed the door behind me, Then Mike seeing me as I kept on coughing.
"Heya, (F/N)." He hummed as he started to follow me, I quickly held my hand up for him to not come any closer as I turned my head away from him. Mike lowered down his usual approach, then asked worryingly; "(F/N)? Is something wrong?" He raised an eyebrow slightly, worry rising from his face.
I shook my head as I try to lower down the volume of my frequent coughing.
Not now, Goddamnit!
"Oy, (F/N)? Are you okay?-" Mike kept nagging as he followed me walking back to my office. My blood boiled and one free hand turned into a fist and quickly turned to face him, with an angered glare from my eyes to hers.
"I'm fine!!!" I yelled in annoyance, enough for him to nod and hear.
But he didn't nod at all, or even listen.
Until I looked into his eyes, they were wide with shock and fear. I softened my facial features with a confused look, not until I felt blood running down from my lips. A drop of that crimson liquid ran down from my chin and onto the wooden floor. I froze, I blew it. Now he knows.
"M-Mike.. I-!" I stuttered, frightened with what to do.
He took a few small steps back, mouth hung open at the situation.
"Mike, p-please..! Don't tell this to anyone..!!" I said, begging like I laid down my whole life on his feet. Mike couldn't say anything, instead.. he instantly pulled me into a hug. Not caring about the blood that could stain his shirt.
"You should've said at least something. Something that you're sick!" Mike said, hugging me tighter. "As one of your best friends, You must tell me what's going on! I never saw this coming." He said, then loosening the hug.
"I'm sorry." I frowned, wiping the blood away from my chin with my handkerchief. "I knew something didn't feel right. But I hope that you'll tell them very soon about this as well. We'll talk later." He said, waving and I waved weakly. I sighed and hurried back to my office.
