"Sawney,, Bean!!!" Hanji cried her eyes out in pain and mourn as she sees the steaming bones of her two experiment titans. (F/N) stood there, watching Hanji fall to her knees. Another mystery appears right at her feet. Who could've done this? Is one thing that lingered in her top-notched brain. She did nothing and left the scene with a sigh, walking past Erwin.

Erwin and (F/N) looked deep into each other's eyes as they walk past each other, before leaving themselves to theirselves.

(F/N) was followed suit by some of her subordinates. "Corporal, Are you wondering who did it?" The female cadet asked.

"I'm certain everyone is, cadet. We're currently trying to find out as well. For now we'll fall back and let the others handle it." She said towards one of her underlings. They've then untied the reins of their horses from fences before heading back to their assigned headquarters.

"So... why are you here again?" (F/N) tilts her head like a child, her cheek resting on her hand, elbow resting against her oak desk. Her swaying the quill in between her fingers on her other hand.

"Hm? I'm here to check on my treasured captain." Erwin closes the door with his behind with the softest and sweetest smile he could ever give to her.

"Are you being flirty or something? You must've drunk something weird." (F/N) groans as she raises an eyebrow, and leans back onto her  office chair. "No. I just miss having a time as free as this. Commanding is hard, it ruthlessly doesn't give you much time for yourself." Erwin laughs it off as he walks towards her desk, and sitting from across her. "I mean,, you can go somewhere else at a bar with Nile.. I'm kinda busy here-" (F/N) finishes her sentence with a cough so usual that's been heard for a while.

Squinting her eyes as she covers her mouth with one palm.

"Feeling any better?" Erwin frowns, worry being read by his face. "I think so." She pulls out her palm of off her lips, leaving a small string of blood mixed in saliva connected from the palm of her hand to her dry lips, frowning at the sight as she reaches out for a handkerchief in one of her drawers. She stood up as she wiped off blood from her mouth and continued coughing into it, the somewhat horror rested on Erwin's face. It's really sad that his lover is slowly dying, especially at a time like this, chaos and wars happening. "Looks like the medicine isn't helping." She sighed as she parted the piece of cloth away from her lips.

"You should take the day off. Spend your time resting." He said, sighing. "Sure. But I can't even sleep." She stood up, wiping her lips. After all, sleep doesn't really do anything to her. Her sickness became more severe, leading her to a night filled with coughing and drinking medicine to simmer it all down.

Erwin slowly stood up and approached her back only to hug her close from behind and nuzzled his chin to the crook of my neck. (F/N) felt heat rise to her face, confused. "Hey, w-what is the meaning of this—?!" She gulped, as she cooperated to hold his arms in front of her, hugging her belly.

"I'll sleep with you."

He said through her neck. (F/N) froze for a second before pushing him off of her. "B-But you know it's forbidden to do things such as these in headquarters, let alone having a relationship like this! This is ludicrous..!" She whispered, as to not be heard as she turned around to face him, worry in her tone.

"I know that. But just this once.." He practically begged, as he reached out to caress her hands.

"Erwin, what if my squad finds out you're sleeping in here? What if the main headquarters wonder where you've been??" She seethed, worry continues to rise.

"(F/N); I've created hundreds of speeches and plans, I've controlled every headquarter in my power, Lead thousands of soldiers to their possible deaths, I am the commander of the Survey Corps and you're telling me I can't sleep in the same bed as you for once?"

After sputtering all that out, all he did was wait for some form of response back at him.

(F/N) just sighed, "Fine." She said, coming closer to give him a hug, Erwin was about to do the same until someone bursted through the door.

"Squad leader (F/N), we've finished cleaning!! Where do I-"

"Didn't I teach you to always knock on my door before entering at least!!?" She pinched the bridge of her nose in utter disappointment. The boy cadet shivered in fear, gulping as his grip became tighter on a box he was holding.

"S-Sorry,, squad leader- And good night to you, commander!!" The boy cadet just chuckled before closing the door awkwardly. "Seriously, who does that shit at such a time??" She mumbled, Erwin giving a soft chuckle. "You better lock that door now." He joked, she fumed in anger and embarrassment as she walked to the door and locking it.

"I-I'm going to change now. Wait for me in my bedroom." She said before heading to her bedroom and grabbing a few clothes to change in the washroom. Erwin crossed down his arms as he walked to the bedroom and sat on the comfy bed. He took off everything but his shirt and pants, since he had nothing to change into. Finally, a sound of a doorknob being twisted came to his hearing, seeing (F/N) in a shirt somewhat oversized, and shorts that's long enough to cover half of her thigh.

Erwin blushed a bit, never thought of seeing her like this. "Th-This is the only clothing I sleep in— So stop staring.." She mumbled as she climbed onto the bed and lied down. "No, you look absolutely harmless in those." He chuckled as he lied down next to her, staring at her beautiful face as he tucked hair strands away from her face. Erwin remained silent as he continued to stare at her, he always admired her beauty even during chaos. "Oi, you froze." She said, before flicking his forehead.

Erwin smiled as he rubbed his forehead before shifting closer to her, their noses a few inches away from touching.

"Good night, (F/N)." He said softly. Her, smiling, "Good night, Erwin. I love you."

He moved to place a kiss on her forehead before pulling the sheets over the both of them. "I love you too." With that, both of them closed their eyes to have a peaceful rest for once.
