I blinked a few times feeling light-headed.

"Finally she's waking up." Aiden cheered.

"Shut up," Amie grumbled.

"Kat omg we totes missed you," Lucy said smiling ear to ear.

I gave them a weak smile.

"Thanks, guys." I croaked out. My throat felt dry and I needed water fast.

As if reading my mind Allen came in with a water bottle and handed it to me. I silently thanked him.

"You cool now kiddo?" Cayden came in and winked at me making me turn away. Shit! Why was I surrounded by so much sexiness? He was the beta of the pack, aka the ultimate ladies man.

I drank the water feeling the cool liquid welcome my throat. Everyone stared at me in silence making me a bit uncomfortable.

"Would you guys quit staring?" I mumbled causing everyone to look away awkwardly.

"Well Kit Kat you were knocked out for an hour now, we were worried about you," Allen said.

"An hour? W-what happened?" I asked panic overwhelming me.

"Take a chill pill before you faint again," Aiden said playfully.

"Alpha Xavier made an announcement that your old pack needed help due to rouge attacks so they will be staying in our packhouse for two months," Lucy explained cautiously.

The room grew silent.

"I-I can't be here when they come, he will be here. I'm not ready." I ranted on.

"Hey, we will all make sure that asshole doesn't come near you." Amie glared.

"Yea you are strong after all." Cayden grinned at me.

"Yea you guys are right. Plus they might not notice me. I've changed these past couple of weeks, I've matured and everything. The only thing that will mess things up is the stupid mate pull." I said.

The pack doctor finally let me out. It felt like Dejavu all over again. I went into the kitchen to get me some strawberries when I felt two arms wrapped around my waist.

"Need help?" His hot breath fanned my neck making goosebumps appear.

I dropped the knife startled by the sudden sound.

"N-no." I stammered.

"It doesn't seem like it." He growled lowly causing my body to shiver. Shit, Cayden!

"Cayden I-"

"Shh Kitten." He pressed my body to the counter. His front pressed against my ass. I felt a bulge and gulped.

I felt liquid slithering down my finger and I looked down to see it was blood.

"Shit! I'm bleeding Cayden, no thanks to you." I grumbled.

"How about you seduce someone else? I mean you have plenty of girls lining up for you. For now, be useful and get me a band-aid." I said to him. He looked at me with amusement before handing me a band-aid.

"I'll see you around Kitten."

"Whatever." I placed the band-aid on my finger adding pressure then I sat down and ate my strawberries in silence.

"Hey," Xavier said sitting next to me.

"Uh, hay." I smiled.

"Uhh, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner about the whole pack thing. I just didn't want to push it on you so soon." He growled obviously frustrated.

"I don't know what to say."

"Forgive me, Kat." His eyes searched mine for what seemed like forever and I nodded slowly pulling him into a hug.

"Xavier I'll be okay," I whispered reassuringly.

"Alpha the Star Dusk pack is here." A girl came in. I quickly pulled away from Xavier now becoming alert.

Xavier nodded and looked at me. We stood up together.

"I guess I have a business to take care of." He said lazily grinning.

"I guess so alpha." I teased winking at him earning a warning growl. His eyes got darker indicating I was turning him on so I quickly ended it there.

"I'll be in my room," I said before skipping up the stairs.

I laid on my bed drifting off when the realization hit me like a ton of bricks.

They are finally here.

What I ran away from weeks ago finally caught up to me and now I have no choice but to face it.

Luckily I won't face it alone. I have friends that will help me get past this.

A/N: There is more to Katalina's getaway. She faked her death but not every detail was written so you guys will get a detailed insight in the next chapter.
