Forget Me Not

Chapter 16

Kat's POV

I sat in my cell crying out in pain as the silver got stronger but not strong enough to kill me.

I whimpered every time a jolt would shock me as I tried to fight it.

"Stop fighting it." I looked at Patrick who was standing over me.
He crouched next to me and looked into my eyes grabbing my chin roughly.

"Why?" I whispered as tears fell from my eyes making it hard to see him. He went quiet and that's when I snapped, instantly becoming angry.

"Why?!" I screamed in a demonic voice, my body felt hot and he quickly let go of my face moving away from me.

"Kenny come in here and calm her down," Patrick ordered before turning down the amount of silver in the chains. By now my wrists were sore and red. Fresh blood dripped onto the floor. I knew it was coming from my wrists and the amount of power I put into breaking free.

I hated Kenny as much as the next guy. After he fucked that whore I had zero respect for the asshole. Or so I thought...

"Katalina darling." Kenny came into the room with a new girl glued onto him. My eyes flashed red but quickly went back to normal. What the hell was that? Perhaps Jealousy? Naah I couldn't like 'Kenny the asshole'. I quickly convinced myself before snapping out of my thoughts.

"I'm scared to go in there." The girl said.

"You will do as ordered." He said harshly, pushing the girl into the same cell I was in.

So that isn't one of his love interests? Cool.

I eyed her licking my lips. I was bloodthirsty and I needed her fresh blood now, I was going to go ape shit crazy in 2.5 seconds.

I mentally slapped myself shaking out of that thought. What the hell came over me?

"Please don't hurt me." She crawled away with fear in her eyes.

I was becoming void and my body felt different. I stared at her and reached into her mind.

'Why would my mate put me in such a bad position did he not love me? He threw me away to a bunch of male wolves who have treated me like nothing but shit and now I'll die in this cell with this m-monster.' She heard the girl's thoughts and softened a little.

"I won't hurt you." I croaked out.

"And I'm no monster. They made me like this." I said in a whisper.

"I'm sorry about your mate but you deserve better." I finished.

She stared at me in utter shock and so did Kenny.

"I-I'm Aspen." She whispered and I pulled her close into a hug. My body got cooler and I was glowing a gold color.

"You're glowing, and your eyes are a beautiful gold." She said in awe. Since I got here things have been getting weirder and weirder.

"Get out," I growled at Kenny going Alpha female on him.

My wolf is not able to take much of this torture anymore. I only had two days left until death came upon me.

'SOMEBODY SAVE ME!!!' I screamed into a link hoping someone from the pack heard.

These switches in my body were strange and I wanted out.

Angelica's POV (Kat's mum)

The boys came up to me saying that Kat communicated with one of them. She sounded weak and hurt and I instantly knew what was happening.

Xavier, Cayden, Lucian, Allen, and Aiden were gathered by me while I told them really important info.

"I have something important so all of you keep an open mind about it," I stated, then paused waiting for some kind of response.

"Okay," Cayden mumbled.

"Alrighty." The twins said.

Lucian nodded and So did Xavier. Great.

"Kat is different." I started slowly.

"How?" Aiden asked.

"I think maybe the whole pack should hear this," I said locking gazes with Xavier.

He quickly gathered the whole pack where we were and I was facing everyone with my husband Noah by my side.

"I'm a half Angel and a werewolf while her biological father is a full-fledged demon. She has many abilities that are unknown, she's a shapeshifter also, being able to take on characteristics of the many supernatural creatures we know." I explained to the boys causing their faces to go pale.

"There is a dangerous side to her that can be unleashed but that's only when she reaches a certain faze. Her father impregnated me months after he found out I was his soul mate and when she was born I kept her in a werewolf environment hiding her true scent from the many supernatural creatures out to get her."

"Things ended on a bad note, making her father cheat and me being the heartbroken single mother I went back into my pack where I became the beta female and met Noah here." I smiled at this part hugging him but I quickly went back into 'no-nonsense' mode.

"She has two more days until her father comes up from the depths of hell and takes her daughter," I said frantically.

"This will be bad. She won't be balanced and will become completely evil which will lead to her self destruction. We have to set out tonight to save her or else things won't be pretty." I ended and silence filled the room for what seemed like an hour. Finally, Xavier broke the unbearable silence.

"We leave tonight," Xavier announced to the whole pack making everyone cheer. I'm glad she had a new pack willing to save her no matter what.

"Stay strong Katalina." I mumbled.
