Chapter 30

Kat's POV

"Hey there pretty girl." I was still angry and I didn't care for whoever wanted to speak. I simply wasn't in the mood for anything.

"Leave me alone," I replied, still taking a walk around the territory. His scent baffled me. I never smelled anything like it so I came to a halt.

"Finally you stopped." He said exasperated before I came face to face with him.

"Angel," I whispered.

"Yes, I'm Gabriel nice to meet you my sweet." He smiled brightly.

This must be the last one.

"You're the last one aren't you?" I said smiling up at him. He was fairly attractive with his messy dark hair. His lips were a light pink and his skin was slightly tanned.

"Ding ding ding. You guessed correctly my sweet." He chuckled bringing me close to him.

"Why are you upset?" He asked looking at me sensing my discomfort.

"Now is not the time Gabriel," I whispered in a hushed tone.
His face completely dropped.

"Visit me tonight then we can chat," I added in quickly.

He wouldn't let me go so I had to pry his hands off of me. I waved goodbye before I continued my walk to calm down.

Amie's POV

"She met her Angel mate. He was the last one. Now let the battles begin for Katalina. And may the best man win." I spoke to my brothers eyeing them. I believed they were best fit for her. They just needed to get their shit together.

"When does it begin?" Allen asked.

"Next week brother, and we have to win her over," Aiden said which made me grin.

Angelica's POV

"Xephan, you will not put my child in danger!!" I yelled at him with pure anger.

His wife found out about Kat and now that I was back into the picture things were going to be pretty.

"We need to set the competition up so she can get her mate and rule the kingdom along with whatever species she ends up with." He growled at me.

"You must have fucking forgot about your father! Or the fucking wife you have that envies me and my daughter !" I shoved him now getting angry.

"Don't you think I took care of that shit Angelica?!" He hissed in my face but I still stood my ground.

I stayed silent knowing what that meant.

"Dicking her down and punishing her will not fix anything you asshole!" I yelled at him now getting angry. Oh the irony for an angel to be cussing up but he was upsetting.

I was slammed on the wall with his hands caging me in.

"Calm down." He growled lowly suppressing his demons. I was defying him and he was trying to control himself.

"I will once you fix things. I don't want anyone after my daughter. I don't want anything happening to my only daughter. I just need to know that you got this. Once Kat finds the right one she will keep her demon but morph into whatever her mate is whether it's a vampire, werewolf, or angel. She and her mate will become one to rule. Nothing must be in the way to corrupt the competition next week." I said before pushing past him and leaving him to digest what I said.
