Chapter 2.5

Katalina's POV

I woke up in a white room. I sat up getting off of the bed feeling a little light-headed I collapsed into someone's arms.

"Whoah there you need to lie down sweetheart, you were hurt pretty bad and your wolf is still healing your face and body. Your parents will be contacted and they will be here shortly. It's a good thing someone found you just in time. A nurse will be coming in to run tests on you." The pack doctor explained.

"Would you like anything?" He asked.

"Yea I'll like some water and favor of you." I looked at him and he nodded so I explained what I wanted and he left the room agreeing. 

"Lina." Cameron called but I didn't look at him feeling sad. He lied to me. They lied to me. He and Angie were secretly seeing each other and she knew I liked him. Of course, he chose her over me. She has everything I don't.

"Kat we misse-" Angie stared talking ready to hug me but I stopped her.

"Don't. How about both of you, just stay out of my life. I almost died today and you two haven't figured it out already because you are too busy spreading your legs." I directed to Angie.

"And you won't keep it in your pants," I yelled at Cam hurt evident in my voice.

They both looked at me full of guilt.

"We are so sorr-"

"Save it." I cut Angie off turning away.

"We didn't notice you were getting bullied."

"Well, I noticed your little hook up so how about you both just stay out of my life?" I was on the verge of crying when my Mum and my angry father walked in and Angie and Cam left.

"Sweetheart." She rushed to me with tears in her eyes embracing me.

"Mum." I cried in her arms.

"It's okay mum. I'll be fine."

"Katalina, my little girl." Dad rushed to me hugging me.

"Tell us what happened." Dad looked into my eyes.

"I fell." I  lied through my teeth.

"Well, you have to be more careful honey." Mum looked at me.

They were oblivious. They didn't know what really happened because I begged the doctor to cut some things out when he explained it to my parents.

Of course, they didn't know I was being bullied, I came home with a mask every day showing them that everything was fine. And that was the way it was going to stay. My parents were busy and I didn't want to be anyone's burden.

Lucian's POV

 I saw a brown-haired Afro-Asian girl with light eyes. My wolf was growling out mate but she wasn't what I wanted. What I needed was a girl like Prissy who can run my pack. I didn't want to give Katalina the wrong impression so I rejected her then and there. She was weak and I didn't care about her I wanted someone who was strong and sexy. Prissy.

Katalina wasn't the one for me the Moon Goddes probably made a stupid mistake

What we need is our fucking mate you dipshit!

Shut up I don't need her.

Her wolf is hurting because of you. Right now she's fucking hurt emotionally and you just don't give a fuck? I LOVE HER AND I ALWAYS WILL! 

My wolf said before leaving me in my own thoughts.

"Dammit!" I yelled frustrated with everything.

"Baby is everything alright?" Prissy rubbed against me. We were both naked and in bed.

"Peachy," I growled.

"Maybe I can make it better. How about round two?" She said seductively before getting on top and riding me.

"Ohh yess Luc." She moaned out.

Katalina's POV

I fully healed and was released from the pack doctor. As I headed up to my room I passed most of the pack members not uttering a word to anyone. I was isolated, I quickly went inside and shut the door. I wanted to take a nap

Tomorrow was a pack meeting and it was going to be a long day.

The next day came around and I was preparing for the big meeting being held in the packhouse. I sat in the corner waiting when alpha Derek came up.

"I will be stepping down from the alpha position." He said and everyone gasped.

"And I'll be stepping down from my beta position." Dad went up.

"Your new alpha will be my son who just came back from a boarding school three days ago. ." My heart sank in my chest then and there as he stepped up in front of everyone and his scent rushed through me.

"Hey guys I'm Lucian and I'm going to be your new alpha." He grinned.
