Words from my song, 'Heart by Heart,' were ringing in my ears as I stared into Nick's eyes. "No, there's no one else's eyes that could see into me. No one else's arms can lift, lift me up so high.Your love lifts me out of time & you know my heart by heart." I smiled as I sang these words in my head, knowing that they fit my relationship with Nick, perfectly. He knew me inside & out, better than most people in my life. He knew my heart, by heart. He knew all the heartaches I had suffered. He knew what made me cry & what made me happy. He knew who I loved & why I loved them. He knew it all. He has been there for most of it & anything he wasn't there for, he knew about it because I trusted him enough to tell him. I found the soul my soul was waiting for. My hand felt the hand it was meant to hold & I wasn't letting go. I truly believed I was one, with the one I was meant to find & now the stars were aligning as everything was falling into place. This was meant to happen. God doesn't make mistakes.

Tears burned my eyes as I wrapped my arms, tightly around Nick's neck, pulling him close to me. "I love you." I choked. "Yes, let's get married tomorrow." I said as the tears started filling my eyes. I felt Nick chuckle beside me, then he lifted himself up. I smiled up at him, then sighed. "So what made you decide this?" I asked.

Nick sighed, too, smiling back at me. "Yesterday, when I realized I was having a daughter, it hit me. This is really happening. I am going to have a little girl who's going to look up to me & I want to be someone she can be proud of. And I want to marry her mother, because I am in love with her & never want anyone else to marry her."

I laughed. "And because if someone ever knocked up our daughter, they better damn well marry her."

Nick frowned, his brow furrowing. "Um, no one is knocking up my daughter, unless he marries her first."

I laughed again. "Oh, okay." He grinned at me, then kissed me, quick.

"Okay, let's get dressed & go down to the courthouse. I'm going to call my parents & see if my dad can marry us tomorrow. If he can, we'll invite our families to my house tomorrow & we can have a small ceremony in front of the most important people in our lives." Nick seemed excited as he got up out of the bed. I got out, too, watching him pull boxers on before he went to his drawer in my dresser to pull out a pair of jeans.

As I was pulling on a pair of stretchy jeans, something occurred to me. "Babe, we don't have rings & I don't have a dress. There's no way we can be ready by tomorrow. Why don't we just wait a little while?"

Nick sounded like he laughed as he pulled a shirt from the drawer. "I want to do this before the tour starts. And I don't care what you wear. We'll just go shopping for rings after we get the license."

"Someone will see us."

Nick sighed, turning to face me. "I'll figure something out. Pack a bag, though, because we're going to my house after & aren't coming back here." His small smile got a little bigger on his face as he walked to me. "In fact. You'll be living with me from now on, since you'll be my wife."

"I don't want to give up my apartment." I said, watching him, closely with a tiny smirk on my face.

"You don't have to, but we're living in my house after our honeymoon." His arms circled my waist as his eyes bore into mine.

"Honeymoon? What honeymoon?" I asked, laughing.

"Your tour will be our honeymoon." His grin made me smile.

"Romantic."

"Together on a tour bus. It doesn't get any more romantic than that." Nick brought his lips to mine for a sweet kiss, then we finished getting ready so we could head out.
