Blake's P.O.V.
The walk was pretty cool so far. George and I had a nice chat but then we noticed Selena walking alone behind us. Her bearing -crossed arms and always looking between the trees- told me that she was very afraid. So I lowered my speed and George did as well so that we parted and walked next to Selena.
I had asked if she was okay but even though she had answered with a 'yes' I was highly convinced that she wasn't. So I tried to find a subject which could cheer her up.
But George was faster.
"Do you know the horror movie 'Annabelle'?" He asked interested. In my thoughts I face palmed myself. Wrong subject George, very wrong subject.
"I don't know any horror movies, George." Selena said a bit angry. Of course she was angry... how couldn't she?
Unfortunately George didn't notice. "What a shame!" He said, "This movie is so good! There is this doll and it-"
I interrupted him before he would ruin the moment even more. "Whatever, George. So, which movies do you like most, Selena?" I asked loud enough so that George would finally stop talking. Thank god, he understood and shut up.
"Hmm," Selena thought about it, "I don't watch movies that often but I like dokumentations about animals..."
Hm... how interesting... I had hoped she would love something cooler so that we could have talked about it. It seemed like I needed to change the plan.
Besides, she still seemed very afraid, that's why I needed to distract her a bit by talking.
"Where do you watch them? On YouTube?"
"Yes." She simply answered.
"And what else do you watch on YouTube?" George finally helped me. Thanks man.
"Only your channel. That's all, I don't like YouTube that much..." She answered, constantly staring between the trees in front of us.
She had watched our videos! Suddenly something very small moved in my belly. The feeling disappeared as fast as it had appeared. But a little grin stayed on my lips.
"I didn't know you watched our videos!" George said delighted. I was glad that he said something because a convenient response wouldn't come up on my mind.
"Of course I do. I need to know who's living in my house." She said.
"And what do you say about them?" I managed to ask.
"They are quite cool actually." Her answer affected another caper of my heart.
"Awesome! Thank you!" George said happily.
"And I like your fans." Selena added. "They are very nice and I barely find any hater comments."
"Oh yeah, that's true!" I agreed with a warm wave rolling over my body like everytime when I thought about my fans. "Our fans are incredible. We love them so much!"
I thought I saw a little smile growing on Selena's mouth but I couldn't be sure because firstly it was very, very dark and secondly I didn't want to stare that obviously and directly at her face.
We kept on walking. I enjoyed the walk, it was fun in the dark and in the woods. But Selena still didn't seem so happy.
Since we weren't talking anymore she got anxious again. Or at least she looked like. There was a thin branch hanging over our path which George simply put away with his arm but Selena got frightened so much that a little choked scream came out of her mouth and she almost bumped into me. "Gosh, I'm so sorry." She said apologizing, holding her hand in front of her mouth.
