A Picture

The next day at school was so boring that I even took out my mobile phone in English lesson. The teacher talked about social media and I took it as a reason to join Twitter. Since these two girls (I still couldn't remember their names) enthused about Blake and New Hope Club's tweets every day I actually was kind of curious what they were tweeting the whole day.

When I finally could decide how my username should be Twitter asked me annoying questions like what were my interests and stuff. Bored, I skipped these and finally ended up at my new profile. I searched New Hope Club and immediately found them. Before I would read some of their tweets I searched the boy's own profiles and followed them as well.

Only then I saw how many follower they actually had. They were really famous! I mean... not like Katy Perry yet but still! My respect for them grew.

Before I could read some of their tweets I had to quickly let my phone disappear because apparently the teacher had asked me a question. Everyone looked at me, some with an amused grin.

I mumbled an answer and sighed silently as the teacher moved on with the lesson and everyone turned around again.

When I was sure the teacher didn't pay attention to me anymore I took out my phone again. There was a new Tweet of Blake:

Waiting for you the whole day is like torture
♡174 | 65 retweets | 41 answers

174 likes were not bad for four minutes!

But what made my heart beat faster was the message itself. I hadn't known how romantic things he tweeted. I grinned at my phone because I knew he meant me even though he thought I wasn't on Twitter.

Then I opened the answers and as I read the responses of the fans I grinned even more. Most of them speculated if this was new lyrics or if he had a girlfriend.

Then my feelings changed. Of course it was romantic but the fans already guessed he was in love. What if they actually found out it was me? My life would change. Like completely.

But no. Blake and Reece and George took care of my privacy. They had promised.

My mood lightened up again when I read a comment of a girl that asked if he waited for the pizza boy. I laughed and stopped immediately as some students turned around again. I stared back at them and they turned back.

I closed Twitter and opened my chat with Blake and texted him.

Kind of a cool Twitter profile you have there ;D

An answer of him arrived immediately.

The best actually 😏
How come you notice?

I texted back:

I just joined Twitter. You have a new follower now ^^

Blake sent a picture and asked:

Is that you?

It was my Twitter profile and I texted:

Yes :)

Then there came a new notification of Twitter which said "@ NewHopeBlake just followed you". I smiled. Many fans would give a lot to get the chance to read this on their Twitter. And now this was my first notification ever. Sometimes I felt like really special to be their friend or even Blake's girlfriend. And again I wondered how I deserved that.

Suddenly a crumbled piece of paper landed on my table. First I watched it like it was an ufo. Who would write letters with me? I looked around but nobody looked suspect.

As inconspicuously as possible I unfolded the letter and read.

Who are you texting with the whole time??
