Chapter 3

"Nothing!" I exclaimed as I dropped 4 letters on the kitchen counter.

"Its only been 4 weeks Kate, give it some time"

"Ugh! I know its just, I'm paranoid that I didn't get the spot!"

"You'll be fine" Dad replied "Now I must be off"

"See ya!" I said as he kissed my forehead and left for work.

I sighed and pulled out some wheat bix and milk. I shouldn't be paranoid this is ridicules, so what if you didn't get it at least you tried.

"You ready honey?" Mum said as she came rushing down the stairs.

"Yup" I replied popping the 'p' as I put my bowl in the sink and grabbed my school bag.

"Yo Kate!" I turned around and saw Sarah opening her arms for a hug.

"Hey!"

"Did it come?" I just shook my head.

I could sense a sigh of relief as she wrapped an arm around my shoulder "Don't worry it will"

"You don't want me to go do you?" I eyed her suspiciously.

She sighed "No....well I do its just....I'm gonna miss you so much!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah well I'm not sure I got in yet"

"You will, and then I'll have no more Kate for a whole year!"

I rolled my eyes at how dramatic she was "Its just a year you can visit! Plus there's no way I am leaving my phone, I'll just Skype off that and I have my mac too"

She beamed as I mentioned computer "So do you like One Direction?!" She asked overly excited.

"Yeah they're cool!" I replied.

"Who's cool?" Mariah came rushing in.

"One Direction" Sarah exclaimed.

"Google is very smart!" I giggled at Mariah.

"I wish it could sit next to me in a test" She joked.

"Hey do you guys know where Erin is?" Danielle asked.

"Probs chatting up that Alex kid" Mariah teased.

I just laughed "She wasn't on the bus?"

"Nope" Danielle said shaking her head.

"Don't worry I'm sure she'll turn up, why do you want her anyways?"

"I found out the dates for when One Direction are coming to Brisbane"

"WHAT?!" Sarah exclaimed.

"Yeah they're staying in some hotel there before and after their concert and we're trying to find out what one it is" I rolled my eyes.

"Stalkers" I giggled.

"Its stalking if you do it more than once"

"Yeah, Stalkers" I replied as she rolled her eyes.

"Did you get tickets?" Mariah asked eagerly.

"Nup, they haven't come on sale, they come out on the 17th, which is wednesday this week! My dad said he will try and get the tickets but he needs to ring work to take a day off cause apparently its mid day or so, my dad said that he could could try and get the tickets for us if you guys bring the money over the next few days"

"OHMIGOSH!" They all squealed.

Typical fan girls. "You coming Kate" Danielle asked.

"Yeah!" Ok they were really cool but I wasn't gonna fan girl over them, geez I feel sorry for these guys getting swarmed by girls all day, its best to just fan girl on the inside.
