"He really said that?" Ruby asked me whilst we were sitting in her backyard doing homework together.
"Yup" I replied keeping eye contact on my paper the whole time.
"Well I'm going to have to change that..."
"What are you doing?!" I asked watching her grab her phone.
"You said that he said he wasn't looking for a relationship and he thinks I'm a cool friend right?"
"Yeah..."
"Well I guess I'm going to have to change his idea of a 'friend'"
"Rubz I-"
"Hey Eli..." Ruby said into her phone. "Would you like to come over, I'm really stuck on this science homework..."
What the heck I thought I was helping her?! I tried waving my hands around to tell her to hang up but she wouldn't listen.
"Yeah she's not here at the moment...Ok cool see you soon"
"What did you just do?!" I asked whilst being dragged to the front door.
"Eli and I are doing 'homework' please do this for me?" She said pouting "It will only be for a couple of hours"
I just glared at her and walked outside, maybe I could chill with Lexi...or Cody...
"Fine!" I really should learn to stop giving into her...
"Yay! I love you!"
"Yeah yeah" I said waving her off.
Once I was a good two streets down from her house I quickly called 'Him'.
"Hey babe" I heard him answer with a glint of excitement.
"Hey you at home?"
"Yesh why?"
"Well, Ruby kinda kicked me out of the house to hang with someone she likes sooo..."
"Your homeless" I heard him chuckle.
"Just for a couple of hours" I smiled into the phone.
"Sure, I'll send a car"
"No don't I'll walk, your not that far" I protested, I really needed a good walk to sort out a lot of things. Besides his house was near Lexi's beach house which was only about 3 blocks down from Ruby's house. About an half hour walk max I estimated.
"Cool I'll see you soon" I heard his voice flow through the receiver before hanging up.
It was roughly about 3:45pm and I was still in my school uniform. I was wearing Cody's pandora of course and let my chocolate brown hair fall freely from my high pony tail as I walked through the streets of downtown LA. I sighed and thought of what my friends and family were doing...I really need to speak to Erin, I have way to many complications right now with Eli and Ruby, Lexi and Alex, Cody and I and then there's keeping up with stuff at home, I really need to sort everything out so I can focus on school. After all wasn't that why I was here, to study as a transfer student? I sighed my life is now officially messed up.
Once I rang the doorbell I herd muffled voices mixed with feet running down the stairs. I waited for a couple of seconds hoping the press weren't around today.
"Katie!" I heard a motherly voice coo.
"Angie!" I reply hugging her sweetly.
"Come in! Come in!"
"Thanks sorry to drop by on short notice -"
"Its fine Cody told me about it" She said waving it off.
