--Memory's--

"Lance! get In here your sister won't stop crying again." a lady yelled she was crouched in front of me with tired purple eyes. a little boy came rushing into the room his gray eyes wide and he panted as he was out of breath. the woman patted his head with loving smile and the boy smiled back sitting in front of me and took my hand. "I'm here it's okay." a man came in now also out of breath his eyes were gray as well he had heard my cries and his eyes softened as he approached. "my poor daughter." he said softly and picked me up breaking my contact from lance causing my cry's to sound again.

"Father stop! she's in pain!" lance shouted reaching for me with panic In his eyes, quickly I was set down and lance took my hand again my cry's stopping. "Why do you stop her pain? you can't stay by her, her entire life holding her hand." my father ran a hand through his hair and looked at me then to my mother who smiled softly.

"She can't help it, her body is fighting itself." she said softly this time she helped me up lance didn't let go of my hand and my mom held my other I passed the mirror and I looked into it with a smile. My left eye was purple my right gray.

"it's the sad fate of a hybrid after all."

Hybrid?

My mom let me go and lance turned to me "let's go play outside?" he asked and I nodded following him out the door and into the front yard i walked beside him as we went to the park stopping at the sand pile and I giggled lance let go if my hand and instead sat so our legs touched the skin contact keeping the pain at bay as I built little mounds In the sand.

"Hey look at that it's the little brats from next door." a couple of boys said looming over us they laughed and stepped on the small castle I was trying to build lance growled at my side but didn't move. "why did you do that?" he asked with a growl but the kids ignored him, and I started to try and rebuild my castle when he stepped down accidentally stepping down on my foot. I cried out and he lifted his foot "sorry I di-" but he didn't get the rest out as lance transformed for the first time to a reddish brown wolf and hurled himself at the teen the moment his skin stopped touching mine I doubled over in pain looking up to see lance had knocked the boy down.

My mother cried out from behind us and I knew she was comming but lance was outraged his wolf had taken over and he wasn't in control he ripped out the boys throat blood coating his muzzle and paws. he transformed back and turned to me covered in blood he held out his red hand. "I will not let anything hurt you." he said and I took his hand the pain vanishing.

My mother arrived and stared in horror at the scene in front of her and I saw behind her as a couple of werewolves confronted my father. it was only a day later that my mother stood in front of me with lance by my side tears streaming down his face.

"Why won't she remember me?"

"Lance you know it's important for her to forget us she cannot know who she is until she can be truly accepted in our world with both humans and werewolves." She took a deep breath turning to me as my father burst in "there coming soon." As if she hadn't heard my mother continued "we have to protect her and the only way to do that is to let her live a normal human life. she will not remember us, she will not feel pain and she will not awaken until she meets a supernatural being once more." lance nodded and my mother started to cry looking at me with much love and placed her hand on my forehead I looked in the mirror behind her as she started to mumble and the purple eye shifted and changed dissolving into gray and lance kissed my hand drawing my attention to jim.

"What's happening? brother? don't leave me." I said and lance sobbed shaking his head at his mother.

"Don't do it mom don't don't please!" he screamed clawing at her hands my mother sobbed to and my father grabbed lance my brother holding him back I stared at him reaching out as he fought my fathers grasp.

"Cassie!" He screamed and my eyes fluttered open to reality.
