Berniece's POV
Next Day
"What do you want?" I ask irritated. Zach cornered me in the hallway.
"We need to talk." He answered bluntly.
"I think not. Now please let me go. I'm going to be late to class." I respond with attitude.
"Please Bernice." He says pleading for me to listen.
"Fine. What?" I ask tapping my foot.
"I really really like you. I know I'm a jerk to Diana but I'm so sorry. I don't even have anything against her-"
"Then why do you bully her?" I ask growing impatient.
"Look Jonah got us all into this. He got us to help him bully Diana. He's had something against her but I don't know what. I'll stop helping though. I really like you Bernice." He finishes. I don't know if I'll really be able to trust him.
"Okay. Then show me." I respond. He pulls my arm and I follow.
We end up at Diana's door step. He knocks on the door and Diana opens it. After yesterday it made sense for her to want a day to herself to calm down and reflect. I can see her body tense up at the sight of Zach.
"Please hear me out," starts Zach," I'm an asshole. I know. I shouldn't be bullying you, I don't know why I do it. Well I do but-"
"Then why? Why do you do it? Why do any of you guys do it? I have never done anything to you guys. You were my friends!" Says Diana, wanting an answer.
Zach hesitates and looks at me. Then he takes a deep breath.
"Jonah. He has had something against you. I don't know exactly what it is though. When he started hating you he got the rest of us to pick on you with him. It's stupid we went along with it. It went too far and it's gone on for too long. But I'm done. Jonah probably won't stop though. He's not in on this. The point is, the rest of us are done. You don't have to worry about us anymore." He finishes.
Diana has never smiled more than when he finished that last sentence. I'm glad we heard him out.

Sorry I didn't update before guys. Ya girl had a big birthday bash and it was a hit. If only the boys came if only. I HOPE YALL LIKE THIS CHAPTER! I think the next chapter will be in Diana's POV again for those of you who miss our girl. Why do you think Jonah hates Diana? I have no clue! (Yes I do hehehe)
