Talking And...

Diana's POV
Everything was going pretty well. Tonight I really want to figure some things out though. I go over to Val and Nicey and tell them what I plan on doing and they also think it will help my memory.

First I go talk to Sophia.
"Hey." I say.
"Hey what's up?"
"Well I just wanted to talk, you know to try to work on my memory. Mind filling me in?"
"Well I had just moved here so we only just became friends. I live down the street and you were really nice to me. There's not much though. We were still getting to know each other."
"Well at least I didn't forget much about you since there wasn't much for me to forget in the first place. You seem super cool though. I can see why we were becoming friends."
"Good. I was worried you'd wake up and not want to be friends." She says.
"Of course not! Well, I'm gonna go to try to talk to some more people. See you later." I say and wave bye to her.

The entire night I went around talking to everyone. I found out from the guys that they were all apart of a band. Zach and Corbyn even sang a little and wow, they are so talented. I see Jonah but decide I'll wait till after the party to talk to him.

I had a blast. Sophia and I got closer which I'm really happy about. When everyone is gone I go to talk to Jonah.
"That was fun." I start.
"Yea. I saw you socializing a lot. That's really good."
"Yea well, I was trying to fill in some blanks from my memory."
"Did it work?" He asks.
"Kinda. I didn't know that you were in a band though." This makes him blush.
"It's no big deal."
"I beg to differ. I looked at your insta. You guys are seriously amazing."
"You know, you're not a bad singer yourself."
"Really?" I ask.
"Yea. C'mon, let's sing something right now."
We do a cover of Can't Help Falling In Love and my voice is actually okay. Jonah's is better.

We sing the last cord and we are face to face. By this point we have gotten super close.
"Jonah..." I start.
"Yea?" He says looking into my eyes. I lose control.

I close the gap between us and connect our lips. The kiss is sweet but I pull back to finish.
"I think I like you." I say. With that Jonah leans in and kisses me. When we pull apart there's a smile on his face.
"I think I like you too." He says and we share one last sweet kiss to end that night.

GUYS NEW CHAPTER LETS GO! I have 4 more days of school and then finals. Guess what YA GIRL WON $25 TODAY. I don't rlly get why but hey I'm not broke anymore. Also can I just say Jonah is gonna be 20 soon and that is NOT OKAY!!! I cannot accept that. I will be in denial. What? No Jonah is 16 still HELLO. Yea. Also I might not post a chapter next Sunday because I wanna focus on studying for finals. Wish me luck on those, though if I fail every final I'll still get an overall B in all my classes sooooo that's good. Alright ima sleep now bye y'all
