Bullied By Why Don't We {Slow Updates}

The New Plan

Valeria's POV

I was making my way to the kitchen but I was still in earshot if Diana and Daniels conversation when I heard, "Good so you know the plan." I hear Daniel say.
"Like I actually think you'll treat me different. You guys are just lucky I care more about their happiness than mine." I hear Diana say.
"Let's just go." Says Daniel.

I rush my way to the kitchen and find Nicey,Zach,Sophia, and Jack. Zach and Jack did this too? Soon Diana enters with Daniel, smile on her face. It looks so genuine. If I hadn't heard the conversation between them then I would believe that smile. When did I lose the ability to tell if my best friend was genuinely happy? Daniel has been too much of a distraction. I will not let him hurt Diana anymore.

Diana's POV

I walk in with Daniel. The same fake smile plastered on my face as before. Val sees us and walks towards us. She stops in front of Daniel and looks at him. Before I know it her hand is slapping him across the face. Everyone gasps.

"What was that for?" Shouts Daniel.
"For lying to me! Zach and Jack are lying too." Says Val.
"What?" Questions Sophia and Bernice.
"Diana tell them about the plan." Say Val to me. I'm shocked. How does she know?
"Tell them how they are not really going to be nice to you." Val pleads.

All eyes are on me. The guys said not to say anything at all. Val already seems to know a lot though. I'd actually be saving their butts.
"Okay I'll talk. The guys didn't tell you the whole truth. They didn't completely lie either. At least that's what they claim. They really like you but they know you guys would never date them if they were jerks to me. Jonah would kill them if they stopped. The plan was that they would be nice to me with you guys around but when Jonah was around they would have to be jerks. When neither are around they'd just leave me alone." I say.

"Zach you said you were completely done! That means no more! Even with Jonah around!" Says Bernice. This gets the girls in an outburst calling out the guys.
"Guys!" I shout. Everyone is quiet. I am too.
"They like you. Being here is risking their necks. Just go with it." I say.

"No! They're scared of Jonah but he's nothing without you guys. Even if he's pissed it's one to seven. Maybe even eight of Corbyn agreed. We can take him. Don't make excuses for them." Says Valeria.

A ringing starts in the room. It's Daniels phone.
"It's Corbyn." He announces. He answers the call and puts it on speaker.
"Hey. What's up?" Asks Daniel.
"Dude where are you guys? We were supposed to meet up! Jonah is pissed you guys aren't here. If you're still at Diana's house you gotta get your butts over here." Says a frantic Corbyn.
Daniel looks up at me, Val, and then the guys before speaking.
"Corbyn. We're done. Tell Jonah that you're looking for us. Come to Diana's. Then we'll call him to tell him to come here. We're done." Says Daniel.

Corbyn is silent for a moment.
"On it!" He says and hangs up.

What did Daniel just do?
