Diana's POV
The Next Day
"Okay what's the emergency?" Say Nicey,Sophia, and Val as they rush through my door. I look down at my necklace that Jonah gave me smiling. My date with him is tonight.
"I'm going on a date tonight! I need your help guys I have no clue what I'm doing." I say to them. There faces have varied expressions of confusion and excitement.
"So who are you going out with?" Asks Sophia.
"Jonah." I say as my cheeks turn red.
"Are you sure you wanna go out with him Diana? Isn't this a little too soon?" Asks Nicey.
"What are you talking about? Let them be. Besides Diana is a big girl, she can do this." Says Val. I pipe in.
"Guys, I appreciate any concern but I'm fine. I really like Jonah. He's a really really great guy... I just wish I could remember him." I say.
"I wish you could too." mumbles Nicey. Something about her tone is off but I try to ignore it.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's get you ready." Says Sophia trying to change the subject. They help with my outfit, a burgundy top with ripped jeans and combat boots.
They also curl my hair and give me a light makeup look to pull everything together. I really love my friends.
"Jonah will have a major jaw drop." Says Val when everything is done. Nicey however looks a little annoyed at this comment.
"Well have fun. I have to go meet up with Zach right now. Call me if you need anything." She says as she leaves.
"I need to go home too. My mom wants me there for dinner. Have fun Diana!" Says Sophia giving me a hug and heading out the door.
It's just Val and I but she's leaving soon. I look at the time. Jonah and I will be leaving in 5 minutes.
"Well have fun bestie!" Says Val opening to the door and allowing me to see Jonah in the doorway. I can already feel the butterflies in my stomach.
