Diana's POV
I ring the doorbell and in seconds he is standing in front of me.
"Can I come in?" I ask him.
"Of course." Says Jonah. He leads me to his bedroom. We both sit on his bed.
"So why are you here?" He asks. Then his face fills with worry, "Did he come back? Did he do something to hurt you?" Jonah says holding me trying to find bruises or something to show I'm injured. I can sense his concern. I stop him.
"No. Nothing like that. I just want to talk to you." Jonah calms down.
"Okay, about what?" He asks.
"Thank you. For always trying to protect me. You don't have to. You never had to, but you still did. Even though I told you that I wanted you to stop. You didn't-"
"And I won't stop. I'll keep protecting you and your mom. Especially now that your brother can't." Jonah interrupts.
"And I am thanking you for that. I shouldn't be trying to push you away when you just wanted to help me. You more than anyone know how much this really hurts me. How much all of this gets to me. You know that, I can't even count the the amount of times that I've have to cry myself to sleep at night." I pause.
Jonah leans towards me and wraps his arms around me. I rest my head on his shoulder. A comforting feeling spreads throughout me.
"I don't want you to have to cry yourself to sleep. I don't want you to ever shed another tear again." Says Jonah. He plays with my hair.
"I can't push away the few people that actually care about me. That ones that actually care about my happiness. The one who'll always be there for me when the world is at its darkest hour."
"So then stop. Don't push me away." Says Jonah.
I look up into his eyes.
"I would never dream of it." I say.

OMG GUYS!!!!! I've missed you all. I've been super busy with school and life that I haven't gotten the chance to update. I'm so sorry. But here's a new chapter! P.S when Jonah talks about her brother not being there anymore it's because he's in college. Her brother is NOT dead guys. Just thought I'd put that out there. LOVE YALL❤️
