Nick was leaving the day after Halloween & wouldn't be back until November 23. He was going to be gone for 22 days & I was physically sick when I thought about how much I was going to miss him or how much the kids would miss him. Sure, we had plans to face time & talk on the phone & we both would be so busy, the time would go by, quickly. I still couldn't help missing him.

The twins & I flew back to Texas when Nick flew out of the country & we got settled back into our lives. I threw myself into writing my books. I also started writing new songs & was reading scripts I had been sent. I had told Phil that I wanted to get into acting again, so he bombarded me with scripts. Once word got out that I was wanting to act again, the entertainment world went nuts, because so many people wanted Nick & I do a film or tv show together. When people watched us on "Jonas Ever After," there were always comments about the chemistry Nick & I had on & off camera. Producers thought we were a gold mine if we did something together. Nick & I both agreed, though, that we would have to really love the script to do something where we worked close together like that. We were also getting constant requests for a reality show. They were everywhere anymore, so it was inevitable. We really didn't want to do a reality show. We did a few seasons of "Jonas Ever After," then we all decided it was time to step away before we started having issues. The show did cause tension, but we were strong enough to not let it affect our relationships.

Mercy & Jerry were talking up a storm these days. They were two & a half now & their personalities were amazing. They weren't like normal siblings, many people would tell us. They hardly ever fought & hated being apart. I started to worry, actually, so I decided to do more play dates. I didn't want the twins to grow up to be weirdly connected to each other.

Olivia & Wilmer were doing amazing, Olivia having had most of her memories of Wilmer return. She still had sketchy memories of her time with Nick, which was fine with me, but a part of me thought it was more because the memories were painful. I think the memories were still there, but her brain was trying to protect her heart. It was just a theory, I'm not a doctor. Her & I hung out a lot, actually, sometimes with Wilmer when he wasn't working. Olivia was still doing correspondent work with Enews, but it wasn't too often since she became a mom & moved to Texas. If they needed someone in Texas, they would call her. She was doing modeling & was just starting to get her & Gianna into mommy & me modeling. Gianna was stunning with big brown eyes, surrounded with long, glorious eyelashes & her hair was long, silky & a gorgeous shade of chestnut brown. She was the spitting image of Olivia, but with Wilmer's skin tone. Everywhere they went, Gianna would get compliments & people in the business were always calling Olivia & Wilmer to try to get Gianna in a movie or a show or in a magazine.

Mercy was beautiful, too, but next to Gianna, she was sometimes overlooked. Olivia was amazing when that happened & always made Mercy feel just as beautiful. Mercy's hair was a little darker than Gianna's & a little wavier & her two front teeth were a lot bigger than her other teeth & of course she had my gap. Nick said she could outgrow it, but I wasn't holding my breath. Mercy looked like I did as a little girl, except her hair was wavier than mine was. I figured as she got older, it might turn curly. Her eyes were big & brown like mine & her complexion was like that of a porcelain doll. Her tiny rosebud mouth was the same as Nick's. Jerry looked identical to Nick. He had my eyes, but Nick's mouth & his hair. The only other thing he had of mine was my smile, one with a mouth full of teeth. He did smile a lot, though, since he had my personality. Mercy was a little more reserved with her smiles, much like Nick. It was as if Nick & I both had our own mini me's look wise & personality wise. They both had Nick's lips & they both had my eyes. Mercy had Nick's personality, being a little more quiet, but she still loved attention like I did as a child. She just didn't make it as obvious as her brother. Jerry was me through & through, always being the loudest one in the room, drawing everyone to look at him. He was very respectful of people though & a charmer like Nick. Jerry knew how to command a room, just like his dad. He also was very protective of people he loves, exactly as Nick is. Jerry would walk up to someone who hurt his sister & stare them down for a moment before pushing them to the ground. Of course, Nick & I didn't encourage this, both of us hiding our pride as we disciplined Jerry for what he had done.
