When The World Comes Down

"What's wrong Camy, you seem distant" Shawn said as we were playing a board game.

"It's nothing, I'm just tired that's all" I responded, I love Shawn but I couldn't stop thinking about Nash. He has been on my mind constantly.

"you sure?"

"Ya, I just need some sleep, I'm going to head to bed" I said and getting up and going to the room I used to sleep in.

I am an awful person, Shawn is so great and yet I want to go back to the asshole that cheated on me. I don't deserve Shawn.

I woke up shivering, it was usually Shawn who kept me warm at night but I guess he stayed in the bedroom.

I walked downstairs and heard a voice behind me.

"I'm going to give you the chance to explain yourself so you can tell me whatever it is" Shawn said once he reached the bottom of the stairs

"I'm so sorry" I said starting to sob.

"What? I want you to say it, after all you put me through at least have the decency to admit it to me."

I stood there silent. Looking at the ground.

"I saw the texts you sent him" Shawn said the anger leaving him and sadness washing over him.

"How dare you text him after I forgave you. After everything he has done to you, you still want him. And I can't help you anymore. It's killing me to help you"

"Shawn I'm sorry, I can't help it. Please understand" I said begging

"You love someone else and you want me to understand" Shawn said tearing up.

"I love you"

"You and Nash deserve each other. I want your stuff and you gone by the time I get back." Shawn said then walked out the front door

"Wait Shawn please-" I said but he slammed the door.

I stood there still shocked cause it had happened so fast. Then I realized....

I just lost my best friend
