Upon Arrival

"Good morning"

I opened my eyes to Shawn straddling my lap. What happened last night flooded back into my head. I can't believe they thought that they could just walk back into my life. But I can't focus on that.

Me and Shawn are getting on a plane tonight to go to Matthew's wedding that is tomorrow in Georgia.

"Hello, is there something more interesting than me sitting on your lap right now" Shawn said bringing me out if my haze.

"No baby, of course not" I said stroking his arm.

"As much as I love for you to stay on my lap, I need to pack. We need to leave in 3 hours" I said

"I already packed for both of us" Shawn said smugly.

"You're the best, you know it" I said flipping us so he was under me.

I slowly kissed up his neck and made my way to his lips. I meshed my lips with his soft lips.

"Cameron, I think we need to head to the airport" Shawn said after however much time had past.

"Fine, let's go" I said grabbing Shawn and putting him over my shoulder and grabbed our large suitcase with the other hand.

"I'm not a child you know" Shawn said as I walked down the stairs.

I chuckled and headed to my car and threw the suitcase in back. I set Shawn down and get in the drivers seat. We drive off to the airport.

"Shawn what gate is it?" I asked

" Gate A" Shawn responded.

We found our gate and sat and waited until boarding started.

"I call window seat!" Shawn shouted as we reached our seats.

He sat by the window and I sat next to him. We buckled ourselves and got ready for take off.

"I don't feel well" Shawn said. He looked really pale and dazed. We had almost reached cruising altitude.

"Don't worry Shawn, it will get better. Here lay in my lap" I lifted the armrest between us and he laid down. I stroked his hair and rubbed his back.

After a few minutes the flight attendant brought a blanket.

"Thank you" I said taking the blanket and covering Shawn.

After a few hours we started our descend.

"Shawn wake up, we have to put our seat belts back on." I said shaking Shawn lightly.

He sat up and slowly put on his seatbelt.

"How are you feeling baby?" I asked.

"Better, Ready to get off"

After we grabbed our bag from baggage claim we waited for Matthew to pick us up.

Matthew went to high school with me and Shawn, but he met a girl the summer of our senior year and moved to Georgia with her.

"Hey!" I called as I saw him pull in.

He got out and hugged me then Shawn.

"How are ya man? Nervous for tomorrow?" I asked.

"Nah man, I'm excited. Ready to start our life together" he responded as we all got in and he drove off to his house.

Matthew knew about Nash and that whole mess and that Shawn and I are dating now. But it has been about a year since I had seen Matthew and his fiancée Sarah.

"We're here" matt said hopping out of the car.

Matt's house was a nice size colonial style house with a garden to the side. Matt was a real estate agent and his fiancée Sarah was a elementary teacher.

Matt lead us to our room.

"Here ya go guys, no funny biz tho" matt said jokingly.

I laid down on the bed, I'm tired from the long day. at some point I dozed off.

"Camy, wake up. It's dinner time" Shawn said waking me up.

He left the room and I followed until we reached the dining room.

"Nice bed head Cameron" Sarah said sarcastically

"Thanks, how are you Sarah?" I said going over and giving her a hug.

"Good, but the wedding cake lady is saying that the cake won't be here til 3 hours before the wedding and it just chaps my ass that it will take that long"

She said, obviously stressing.

"I'm sure it will be beautiful" I said

We ate the dinner Sarah made and her and Shawn did the dishes as Matt and I put away leftovers.

Afterwards we said goodnight then headed to bed.

Shawn walked out of the bathroom with just my tee and small underwear on.

"Are we going to bed or do ya wanna do something a little more fun?" I said suggestively.

Shawn in response tossed a pillow at me and got in bed.

"We are going to sleep, we have to get up early." Shawn said snuggling close to me.

"Night" I said to a already asleep Shawn.
