CHAPTER THREE
"Do not piss me off, Jughead Jones, otherwise I might have to take you on."

Marley watch as Flo and Hermione had a heated discussion in the corner, from her seat next to Jughead. Her aunt left almost two hours ago and will hadn't returned. Nearly the whole school was here and Betty was standing by the window talking to Dakota.

"Jug, something's not right," Marley said her eyes not leaving Flo and Jughead raised an eyebrow at her.

"What do you mean?" Jughead asked and Marley just furrowed her eyebrows.

"Flo and Hermione have been having a heated discussion in hushed whispers for the past two hours. They've been sitting in those to chairs next to the corner, my aunt had to go somewhere to sort something out and she's not back yet," Marley said and Jughead frowned while looking at Flo and Hermione.

"Well, What do you think is going on?" Jughead asked and Marley shrugged before popping her gum.

"I don't know. I just know that my mother's soon-to-be husband worked with Hiram in the past. But I don't know how their business concerns Flo and my aunt. It could however have something to do with the serpents. My aunt and Flo used to work with them, and the serpents worked for Hiram and Hiram worked with my mothers husband but that seems like a longshot. This seems like a whole different fiasco," Marley spoke her eyes not leaving Flo and Hermione.

"What are you hinting at, Rose?" Jughead asked and Marley shrugged.

"I don't fucking know. Everything's just stopped making sense all of a sudden. Lately I've been asking myself why my aunt, a women who had lived in a big city her whole life, decided to move to Riverdale and why would my mother move here too?" Marley said biting her lip.

"Why would anyone decide to move to Riverdale?" Jughead joked and Marley smiled slightly. Marley and Jughead just watched the interaction between Flo and Hermione.

The pair continued to watch until Flo turned her head and made eye contact with Marley. Flo forced a smile and Hermione turned around and did the same thing. Just then Gina walked back into the room and she seemed panicked, she quickly walked up to Flo and Hermione and said something and Hermione nodded before leaving the room with Gina . Marley frowned before looked at Jughead.

"Ok, That was weird," Jughead and Marley nodded, before looking back at Flo who was now on the phone.

"What the fuck?" Marley asked and Jughead just shrugged. Marley looked up and saw Veronica walk into the room and walk towards Jughead and Marley and they stood up and seconds later Betty joined them.

"Hey, V. Where's Archie?" Betty asked and Veronica sighed.

"He's at the station," Veronica said and Marley eyes widened.

"Archie's where?" Betty asked again and Veronica sighed.

"At the Sheriff station. Doing a lineup. He asked me to be here with Fred until he gets back," Veronica explained.

"That's fucking traumatising for him. We should go down there," Marley said gently grabbing Jughead's arm and Veronica shook her head.

"Actually can you guys do me a huge favour? My Andrews' wallet is missing. We're thinking it might be at Pop's. That or the guy who shot Fred might have it." Veronica said and Betty nodded.
