CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE
"Fucking Posters?"

Marley was sitting in the the student lounge next to Jughead with her legs draped over his lap the next day. While Veronica spoke.

"I've decided I'm running for student body President. Against Reggie 'the misogynist' Mantle," Veronica said and Jughead groaned. He still hasn't eaten anything in protest so he was extra groggy, he was also externally sexually frustrated.

"You've got to be kidding me," Jughead said and Marley shot him a look.

"If yesterday's dramatic events taught me anything, is that Veronica Lodge is not the victim nor will she ever allow herself to be." Veronica said proudly.

"Your parents are taking over Riverdale and now you want to take over our school. So what is this? Part of Mommy and Daddy's evil bidding?" Jughead said and Marley shot him a look.

"Reign it in, Jug," Marley said to him and Jughead just sighed.

"Jug, I get that you're in a bad mood because you haven't eaten-" Archie said before Veronica interrupted him.

"Actually, Jughead. My parents think I should avoid the spotlight, but I was born for electoral spotlight," Veronica said and Jughead scoffed.

"V, If you wanna be President then you've got our vote," Betty said and Marley nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, Team Ronnie all the way," Archie said and Jughead scoffed again.

"B, as the Thelma to my Louise, I can't imagine doing this with anyone else. Will you be my running mate?" Veronica asked and Marley gasped.

"V, of course," Betty said while standing up and hugging Veronica and Marley sighed.

"What am I? Chopped liver?" Marley asked slightly offended that Veronica didn't asked her and Jughead chuckled. Marley glared at him before moving to take her legs off his lap but Jughead stopped her by gently gripping them.

"I didn't think that you'd be into this kind of stuff. I didn't expect you to want to be in the spotlight and doing all the extra curricular but I still want you to be very involved. Posters need decorating," Veronica said and Marley hid the offence by fake smiling, but Jughead saw through it.

"You're right, V. You know me so well, I'll make some bomb ass posters don't worry," Marley said and Jughead looked at her before gently squeezed her thigh in reassurance knowing that she wasn't happy.

"Great! B and V that's a team you can believe in!" Veronica said and Marley fake smiled before popping her gum and putting her head on Jughead's shoulder.

"Betty, we've got loads to do, let's get started in the Blue and Gold," Veronica said and Betty nodded before the both of them walked out of the student lounge with their arms linked.

"I gotta go, football practice," Archie said before leaving the student lounge. Marley looked at Jughead before standing up and leaving the lounge and Jughead quickly followed her.

Marley walked into the art room which was empty and Jughead followed behind her and shut the door after him.

"B and V that's the team you can believe in," Marley mimicked before turning around to her boyfriend.

"Posters?! Fucking Posters, Jughead. More and more lately the pair of them have been leaving me out of things and not involving me and it's pissing me the fuck off, Jug!" Marley said angrily and Jughead just sighed.

"B and V this. B and V that. I know that I'm not a child but for fuck sake I feel like I'm back on the playground. Posters?! Fucking Posters?! I'd rather not be involved at all. I love Veronica I do, but Posters?!" Marley asked and Jughead sighed before pulling her into a tight hug.
