CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
"For fuck sake."

"Uh, we are here," Elijah said as he pulled up to Marley's House and Marley unbuckled he seatbelt before opening the car door.

"I'll be a minute," Marley said and Elijah nodded. Marley got out of the car unlocked the front door and ran up to her room. She stuffed random articles of clothing into a bag along with her sketchbook and some pencils before running back downstairs and getting into the car and Elijah looked at her bag.

"Jesus, Marls, you aren't running away are you?" Elijah asked and Marley scoffed before shaking her head.

"No, I'm staying at Jughead's for a few nights," Marley said and Elijah nodded.

"So should I drive you there?" Elijah asked and Marley shook her head before buckling her seatbelt.

"Pops," Marley said and Elijah nodded before starting the car and beginning the drive to Pop's.

Marley just watched as Elijah ate his fries not touching her own food and Elijah sighed before looking up at her.

"You just gonna stare at me the entire time?" Elijah asked and Marley sipped her milkshake before speaking.

"Are you fucking my mother?" Marley asked him getting straight to the point and Elijah shook his head before sipping his drink.

"I suppose you've met or heard of my mother, Ana, she works for your mother. We live in the guesthouse behind your moms house for free on the condition that my mother cooks and cleans. Me and my sister often help out too," Elijah explained and Marley nodded.

"My mother, does she treat your mom right. She doesn't overwork her, does she?" Marley asked and Elijah shook her head.

"No. In fact, Lena and Liam are the best family that we have ever worked for. Liam is the one that bought me my mustang, he also pays my mom way more than she has ever gotten before. My mom really likes Lena. They spend the whole night gossiping," Elijah said and Marley nodded before putting a fry in her mouth.

"You have a sister?" Marley asked and Elijah nodded.

"She's thirteen. Very smart, very tall, addicted to Marshmallows. Lena loves taking her shopping," Elijah said and Marley couldn't help but smile.

Marley knocked on the door of Jughead's trailer and seconds later Jughead opened the door and Marley walked in.

"Marls," Jughead said as he closed the door behind her and Marley just threw her bag on the floor before turning around to face him. 

"Mind if I stay here for a few days?" Marley asked while kicking off her shoes and Jughead looked at her.

"Why? What happened?" Jughead asked and Marley sighed before pulling her hair into a messy bun.

"I'll tell you if you let me stay here for a few days," Marley said and Jughead nodded before walking towards her and putting his hand on the side of her face and putting his lips on hers and Marley smiled before kissing him back.

"Of course, you can. But Toni is going to come over so we can talk about some things," Jughead said once they pulled away and Marley raised an eyebrow at him.

"Serpent things?" Marley asked and Jughead nodded. Marley shrugged before pecking him on the lips again before taking off her denim jacket.

"I kinda need to talk to your dad, so I might go and see him tomorrow. If that's okay," Marley said while sitting down cross legged on the couch and Jughead raised an eyebrow at her before sitting down on the couch next to her.
