"I'm sorry to unite us all of a sudden but we have a code red." Green Lantern said. We had been called at 1 am in the morning all of a sudden. I don't know how these people looked so awake in the middle of the night whereas I was struggling to keep an eye open.

"Goodness gracious woman get a hold of yourself." Bruce said tapping my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I'm still getting used to this." I replied.

"What seems to be the problem Hal?" Barry asked.

"It's the joker." He replied causing everyone to have a loud sigh.

"Joker?" I asked.

"He's a psychopath. Honestly a remorseless serial killer." Barry added.

"And we haven't caught him yet?"

"Nope, he escapes somehow."

"What?"

"He's a criminal mastermind." Bruce replied, his face looking more serious than ever. "He has no superhuman abilities but is quiet the  expert in chemical engineering. He makes poison, basically."

"He is insane. And he'll go to any extent, he knows no fear." Clark added.

"Why is he alive then? I thought you guys terminate criminals like him." I replied.

Everyone was quiet.

"Guys...."

"It's a complicated thing Diana. Any updates on where he was spotted?" Bruce asked casually sliding off topic.

"This was his last location." Barry said opening a map on the screen.

"Hey Hal, um can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked pulling Hal to a corner. I highly doubted anyone was going to open to me about this so Hal was my best chance.

"Sure, what's up?" He asked stirring his tea. He was such a tea person you'd be surprised.

"Why is everyone so sneaky about this Joker person? It's like they don't even want to talk about him." I asked.

"Diana, we really shouldn't be talking about this. Especially with Bruce around." He replied eying around the room as if anyone heard him. They were all so weird after the meeting.

"You have to tell me please. I am a part of the team, right?"

"Ugh, this chase with Joker isn't new. This has been ongoing for years. And normally Bruce takes care of it, we don't do anything about it." He answered.

"Well if he takes care of it, why is he alive?"

"It's complicated. You don't know the monster. He is everything opposite to Bruce is. I guess in a weird way they are obsessed with each other." Hal answered.

"Obsessed? This is crazier than I expected it to be."

"Well if I get the chance I'm going to shoot him." I replied.

"That's funny, let me know how that works out." Hal replied laughing.

"Can I get a ride home?" I asked Bruce who was heading out. He seemed way calmer than his usual self. Maybe it was the joker thing again.

"Sure." He replied as we headed downstairs.

"It's 5 in the morning." I said trying to steer a conversation as he drove. It was awfully quiet.

"Yeah, morning meetings do take a toll on you. Thankfully you have no class today." He replied.

"You haven't been to classes for weeks."

"Classes don't matter to me. If I want I could graduate today." Bruce answered. Boy did I not like his Batman side for some reason. I decided to stay quiet.

"I could use some breakfast, care to join?" He asked.

"Give me one good reason why." I replied causing him to laugh.

"I'll tell you about the Joker so you can stop snooping around my back to get information." Bruce replied, smiling.

"That is a good reason." I agreed.

i know, i know batman isn't all talkative, funny, kind in any sort but this is all is based on an imagination and i did tell u before hand that i would make Bruce everything opposite to how he is but i keep batman side of his serious so here we are.
