"Well....you.................you look nice." Clark coughed, trying to steer up a conversation. The past few minutes had been quite awkward since I didn't know what to make out of his unexpected presence.  He clearly wanted to talk about something and I could tell from the flowers that he was trying to win me back.

No, this wasn't the first time we've done this.

I just want to sleep, am I horrible for thinking that?

"Okay I clearly don't want to have this conversation while wearing nothing but a piece of towel as my clothing." I replied, getting up. "Just give me five minutes."

"Not that there's anything wrong." He murmured.

"What did you just say?"

"Nothing....take your time." Clark coughed. Something was so weird.

I went to my wardrobe picking a sweatshirt and shorts just so I wouldn't have to make him wait any longer. Clark probably needed space to get this whole thing figured out, it's what he always does. Whenever there are things that needed to be sorted out Clark always takes a time out and clears it up. It's how he works his anger to actually do things and finish them. But I was sick of this habit. I didn't want him to do the same with me, I didn't want to be pushed away like an object.

As I was heading over to my room, I noticed my phone had been vibrating over the couch where I'd left it earlier. I went by and checked it. Bruce had left few missed calls and a text  to me.

6 : 21 PM

TEXT BY : BRUCE

Will pick you at 7. We have somewhere to be.

I replied immediately.

6 : 30

TEXT BY : DIANA

I was notified that I had nowhere to be today. I need you to respect my off days. Else I will sue.

I don't know if that sounded harsh but I had more important stuffs to deal with at the moment. I shut my phone off and headed towards my room where Clark had been going over my list of due assignments.

"That's a lot you got on your plate." He smiled.

"Yeah well I've dealt with lot of things by now." I replied sitting on the bed.

"Yeah, about that. I'm sorry. I just....I'm sorry how I left things...I just need....."

"What? Space? I know that Clark. I know you need time off to deal with things. But this time, you weren't in the correct place to push me away from you. I needed you, the most. And you just left me there wondering...clueless." I replied.

"Please, Diana can you forgive me? I know I did you wrong but....we can work this out. I'll help you." He suggested.

No one can help me. Not you, not me myself. Why're we going through this again?

"Well it's too late to hop on the pity train. I'm sorry Clark, I think we're done here." I murmured.

"What? Are you really saying.....what I think you are?" He asked.

"Yes. I can't do it anymore. You and me, we just don't make sense anymore." I replied.

"Is this because of Bruce? Did he tell you to do this? Cause I swear to god......."

"It's not about Bruce, Clark. Why can't you see it? It's because of you. You're the one with problems not him. I just wish you understood me better."

Clark looked hopeless.

"I hope we can move past this." I replied and kissed him on the cheek one last time. It's over for better Diana, you need to move on, so does he. But is it sad that I already miss him and feel worse than I did before. "Please show yourself out, I want to go to bed now."

Just get through the night Diana, like you planned. Just sleep on it. It'll be over soon.

2 : 41 am

The door opened.

"I know it's late. But I can't sleep after what happened."
