"Are you all right? You look like you saw a ghost." Megan asked. We were in the cafeteria since it was break time and I had been dismissed from the counselor's office. But I guess I still wasn't in good form because I was asked a lot about my appearance.

"I'm fine. Nothing much." I replied eating my chicken salad. Stuffing foods onto my mouth was apparently the only way I could stop myself from talking.

"Why'd they call you?" Clark asked softly. He looked concerned, he's always been like that I suppose. Whenever I was in trouble, Clark dealt with it immediately sometimes without even my own knowledge. He's one of those super protective people who will do anything despite the consequences.

"Just academic stuff, maybe my mom paid them a visit I guess." I lied. There was no way I was going to tell him about earlier. Me trying to jump from a seven floor building was the last thing he needed to know.

"Man she needs to catch a break." I could hear Megan whisper under her breathe. Obviously she hated my mom I knew it. My mother was a bit over protective so I had no reasons to prove her wrong.

"Are you sure you're all right?" Clark asked, reassuring for the second time.

"I'm all right." I replied lending him a smile. He was such a sweetheart.

"Anyways, did you hear Amelia got dumped? It was huge this morning." Megan replied, moving half of her hair away from her face diving into the regular gossip mode she was on. I found it funny how she was in knowledge of everything.

"She got dumped? By whom?" I asked. Amelia was one of the coolest chicks in our school. She was an okay friend of mine but guys loved her. They would be after her since she would dump guys as per her mood but to hear a guy dumping her for a change was quiet a news.

"Bruce dumped her this morning, I heard it was quiet bad.."

"Bruce? As in..... Bruce Wayne?" I asked. Oh god, that guy.

"Yeah, him. Can you believe it? He dumped her because he said he was in love with someone else. Amelia cried the whole way home." She replied.

I could not believe this, he was with me two seconds before but he was able to breakup as well. I guess I underestimated him a lot more than I should have.

"That's just what guys say to get rid of their girlfriends." I replied causing Clark to give me a scary look. I think he took it the wrong way.

"I didn't mean you geez." I replied causing Clark to focus back with his friends.

"What do you know about Bruce? Is he a player or something?" I asked. I needed to find out as much I could about him so I could use that to my knowledge. Or even against him.

"He has seen a lot of girls but I don't he's ever settled for a serious relationship. A month is maximum he dates." She replied.

"Did you know that he actually owns this entire school?" I asked.

"WHAT?" Megan yelled, causing some people to look at us weirdly. They didn't seem surprised though.

"Lower your voice! He actually owns all this and a few more companies, can you believe him?" I asked.

"Well I mean his parents did die so maybe their properties were passed onto him, you know?"

Oh my god.

"His parents....died?" I asked.

"Yes, they died when he was a kid. It was horrible I heard."

Oh Bruce.

What are you even upto?
