James still hasn't let go, I was stuck under his well built frame, which meant I had no way of escaping. I hadn't really realised how muscular he was until that point. I'm pretty sure if he stayed like this any longer my small frame wouldn't be able to take it."Now are you going to apologise for insulting my skills princess?" James taunted me, giving his evilest smirk.
"You know I can't do that" I retorted, hiding my face to the side like a three year old would.
James slightly tightened his holds on my wrists but moved so that he was no longer crushing me with his body weight.
"I guess we better get comfortable then" he said as he moved closer to my face.
The door was opened casually by Alec as he walked in. "Isabelle..." he stopped mid sentence as soon as he saw James.
The shock was evident on his face, "James? What are you doing?"
James' face began to change to a deep shade of red. He quickly got off me, releasing my hands as if they were a disease.
"Nothing, just putting her in her place." He shrugged as if he wasn't just caught out seconds ago.
My jaw dropped open. Alec was far too quick for me to retaliate to James' dismissive comment.
"Seems an awful lot more than that James, you both looked quite comfortable there."
"I've got better things to do than this." James scowled at Alec as he barged into his shoulder whilst leaving the room.
Alec gave a knowing smile towards me as he came to join me on the bed. "So James huh?"
"What about him?" I questioned, not understanding what he was insinuating.
"You can't tell me nothing was going on there!" He chuckled to himself.
"I'm sure James' reaction then just showed you there was nothing going on, he doesn't like to breathe the same air as me!" I rolled my eyes at his ludicrous assumption.
"Of course, I must have seen something else" he sarcastically replied as he got up to leave the room.
He stopped just as he reached the door, pausing before he turned around.
"What would have happened if I hadn't ruined the moment though?"
He left again leaving me with an unanswered question.
