She passed out, her body still fragile at movements. Cerebral or otherwise. The feeling was empty again, yet in a different state. She began to relive her memories, the ones she could remember, and enjoyed them before tearing up. It felt like a challenge of how quickly she could change emotions.
On the conscious end, Lotor was slowly taking closer steps to the gorgeous woman before him. He had seen humans before, studied them through textbooks and easily hacked satellites but he'd never met someone so exhilarating. She had barely spoken a few words and he already felt compelled to organize a soulmate ritual on the spot.
As a prince, a son of Zarkon no less, he had seen exquisite females of every race. Once upon a time, his father even considered marrying him to Princess Allura. A thankfully discarded idea by the king and his mother, the queen. But the Green Paladin held his niche for him. Like the forests she guarded, his survival was protected by her alone.
It's incredible how a powerful prince like himself fell so hard for a human paladin of Voltron in moments. His father would kill him.
His stomach dropped at the word 'father'. An emperor who once was a role model turned into a pathetic excuse of a leader, disgusting. Lotor once vowed himself to never be anything even close to his father after quintessence. He quickly brushed away his thoughts, the half-Galra's eyes inspecting his prisoner.
Just seeing her caused his heart to thump loudly against his chest. Just seeing her made him feel nervous, like a teenager speaking to their crush. Just seeing her caused him to feel entranced.
The loss of such an enchanting person from their lives must have been devastating. He almost felt guilty knowing he had taken her away from her friends.
Almost.
But now he had the most divine creature in the galaxies to himself. Now he had stopped Voltron, now he had a mate. Now he could prove his mother and father wrong, because he could manage the empire by himself.
He brushed away waves of copper hair, softer than silk and revealed the paladin's pale column of a neck. It was riveting, with her girlish face seemingly peaceful despite her situation. Lotor's fangs began to mindlessly poke out, as if to start the mating ritual but someone rammed through the doors. Acxa.
He retracted the sharp teeth and dropped his hand to his side. The general ignored the entirety of the scene and saluted him, he reciprocated the action.
"Sir, the empress demands you."
"Demands?" Lotor asked with a raised brow.
"Yes, sir."
"Fine, you're dismissed."
The prince sighed dramatically, he looked back at the young lady shackled to the wall and smiled lightly. He walked over to her and gently caressed her cheek, satisfaction filling him when she shivered.
"I'll be back."
