"And that's how I made Alfred cry for the first time. My rant went on for hours." Matthew said.

"Wow, you said all of those things? That's strange coming from a sweet person like you." He blushed.

"W-well... I'm not mean, but he just really got on my nerves. Even though I said what I felt, I did feel guilty afterward."

"Of course you did."

"Yeah, off topic, do you think my hair is getting a bit long?" He asked, grabbing a strain of his hair. You looked at it.

"Hm... yeah, I guess you could say that. Why?"

"I was thinking of cutting it. Maybe a haircut?" You nodded. "But, I don't know where to go is the deal. Do you know any good places?"

"Yes, I do." You said, pulling out a small business card from your bag. You gave it to him and he looked at it.

"Chopz?" He chuckled. "Nice name, I'll give it that. Have you been here before?" You smiled and nodded. "Well, I guess I'll go here then. Want to go with me?"

"I'm sorry, but I have to go work for today, but I'll see you in a bit, okay?"

"Okay, have fun and be safe." He said, giving you a kiss.

This is the place.

I walked into the shop, to see the place entirely filled with teenage girls wearing dresses. I watched my feet so that I wouldn't step on any of them. Going through the crowd, I hear my name being called out.

"Matthew! Over here!"

I look in the distance to see (Y/N) doing a person's hair. I make my way around and met her.

"(Y/N), I didn't know you worked here."

"Yeah, I wanted to tell you sooner, but I surprised you instead. I don't only work here, I'm the owner of this place."

"Really? That's amazing! How long have you had this place for?"

"Hm, for about almost over a year now. Crazy how time flies by, I remember opening it for the first time like it was just a few days ago."

"Yeah, and how is it? Successful?"

"I guess you could say that. It helps me pay all my financials and I love the art of hairstyling. I can do almost anything related to the hair on someone's head."

"That's great. So, what's with all the girls here?"

"Oh, prom night. Apparently, from what they told me, I'm the best around which I appreciate highly. I also get to hear the funniest stories from them. It's a personal bonus. Once I'm done here, I'll get you done too."

"Bye girls! Have fun and be safe!" You said to everyone leaving out the door.

"Okay, thank you!" Everyone said in sync.

You wiped your forehead and sat down on a chair. You signed heavily.

"Finally done with everyone, including you. Do you like it? It's more of a trim than anything, sorry..."

"N-no! It's perfect, I love it. You're so skilled. Better than anyone has ever done and I truly mean that."

"Thank you, Matthew. Well, you can head home now if you want. I have to stay here and clean and close for the day."

"Allow me to help you. It was a pretty long day. So, we can head home together." He said, grabbing a nearby broom. You smiled.
