Your POV:

After the 2p incident, you and Matthew decided to spend the day outside. Starting off nice and fresh, the two of you went to Grouse Mountain to snowboard. Arriving at the top of the mountain by a ski lift, you looked down and tried not to remember what happened on your and Matthew's first date. Minus out the almost dying part, you still hold that day dear to your heart. Matthew was standing beside you and you could hear him laughing quietly.

"What is it?"

"Oh, nothing. Just remembering our first date is all."

You gasped. "That's exactly what I was thinking! Crazy day, huh?"

"You bet. Do you want to go first or should I?" He asked, lifting a brow.

"I-I'll go first!" You said, preparing yourself this time and started going down the mountain. You started to pick up more pace the further you went down, but you managed to stay calm.

I'm doing it!

What you didn't notice was the big snow ramp coming your way.

Nevermind!

You pushed away the fear, went up the ramp, took hold of your snowboard and flew through the air, landing perfectly on the ground. You threw your arms in the air and cheered. You looked behind you and see Matthew doing the same thing and quickly coming to you.

"Maple... that... that was amazing!"

"You think so?! It felt like I was going to die!"

"Well, you didn't. That's all that matters. Besides, seeing that was incredible."

"Thank you and you too!"

"Thanks, um, after a few more turns, do you want to head to Gastown for the rest of the day?"

"Of course. I'd love too."

You and Matthew held hands while walking through the town. You two went into a Victorian style restaurant and ate lunch there. Afterward, you two sat on the shoreline together and watched the waves softly crash down. You leaned up against Matthew.

"Thank you, Mattie."

"For what?"

"For everything. You're such a sweet person and I wouldn't trade you for anyone."

His entire face turned red but passed that, he leaned in into your face and kissed you. You kissed back.
