Why do I always get compared to other people? Am I that unoriginal? Why do I feel this way? I'm usually stronger than this to ever fall victim to something as pathetic as this.

You were at home, writing down ingredients for new recipes that you'd like to experiment on. As you were doing so, the random thoughts crossed your mind again. How you get compared to other people. Calling you out because they think you're copying off of someone else. You hated it. What could you do about it? Nothing. Just stand there and listen to them waste their saliva on useless words.

Thinking about this made you feel insecure and angry. So angry that you broke your pencil in half while writing. You set it aside and sighed deeply. Lovino came into the room and saw your frustration.

"What's wrong, ragazza?" He asked, sitting down beside you. 

"Don't you ever feel like people are a bunch of jerks?"

He scoffed. "Yeah, like every day. Except you, of course. Why?"

"I don't like it when I get compared to others, or people call me unoriginal. I try extremely hard to be creative, but it seems like someone always beats me to the idea first..."

"...I'm not good with these sort of talks, but I know how you feel. Certain insecurities can get the best of us sometimes. And it's okay, but we can't let it consume us and ruin our way of thinking. Everyone is creative and original. I know you are. Your hard work shows it. Let those stupidos talk all they want. It's not going to get them anywhere. Hold your head up high and strive forward."

 Your eyes widened with his words. "Wow, Lovino... I never knew that you had that inside of you..."

"I've been in the same place you are right now. It's not fun. Also, don't tell anyone I told you that. Or else."

You giggled. "I won't."
