You and Alfred hanged out almost every day. You two played video games, read comics, and ate lots of food. Like, a lot. Today, you invited Alfred to play Street Fighter at your house. For someone who was good at it, Alfred wasn't really on his game today.

"Yay! I finally won!" You shouted into the air, jumping up and down with excitement. When you stopped, you see Alfred spaced out. You waved your hand in front of his face.

"Alfred? Hello?" You asked.

He snapped out of his thoughts and smiled awkwardly.

"Sorry, (Y/n)..."

He stayed silent for a bit and then looked at his watch.

"I think I'll head home now. See you later."

And he left, just like that.

You were honestly saddened by this behavior of his. It wasn't like him at all. It also concerned you.
