His POV:

(Y/n) was currently drowning in work at the moment, I offered my help but she kindly rejected it. But if I were to be honest, I don't know if I'd be much help within that sort of field. Despite popular beliefs. I spent the day reading and trying out different potions that (Y/n) suggested to me. While pouring one into the other, I felt the slightest tremble coming from below me. I brushed it off and continued.

Then afterward, I got a strange, mysterious feeling. I stopped what I was doing and turned the t.v on to see what was happening. A massive earthquake was approaching our way. 

I quickly grabbed my phone and tried to contact (Y/n). She didn't pick up.

She must know about this, right?

I didn't trust anything and I headed out to see her before anything could occur.

When I reached the doorstep of her workplace, the ground started to rumble. I tried opening the door, but it wouldn't push through. That's when the ground broke apart into pieces. I was thrown in the air by the force of the powerful shaking. Buildings collapsed, people panicking, everything was falling apart. I picked myself up and tried getting into the building again.

It's no use... No! I can't give up...

Struggling hard didn't help when a brick fell on my head. Everything turning black...

I woke up in aching pain. My eyes widened seeing the sight of the city. I was still in front of (Y/n)'s workplace, but in ruins now. I ran in the big pile of rubble, searching for her, anyone.

"Iggy..." I heard a soft whisper.

I continued searching until I saw a familiar hand. I took hold of it pulled them up. It was her. She was badly injured. Covered in blood and bruises.

"Arthur... you came..." She barely managed to say.

Tears fell down my face. "Of course I did, love. Nothing will ever stop me from being with you. Here, I'll fix you up now." I waved my hand in the air in order to use my magic, but nothing came out. "What the-?"

"It's okay... Artie. You don't have too, my time is already up..."

"No, I'll..." I see the life completely drain out of her.
