Nighttime Terrors (Spain)

His POV:

I cradled her body in my arms, completely lost. The sheet that covered her was drenched in water and my tears. Outlining her corpse. Romano tried to comfort me the best he could but to no avail.

I will never forgive myself for not being able to save you... I'm pathetic....

Suddenly, it started to rain. Tears blurred my eyesight and I magically appeared in my bedroom. I clenched my bed sheets and looked around. It was all dream.  I sighed in relief. Knowing everything and everyone was okay. I got up and decided to take a night stroll throughout the city.

Not knowing where I was going, I stumbled upon my chica's flower shop. I looked through the front door and saw that it was dark inside. I looked closer and saw a bit of light shining out the back door where her garden was. I went around the building and came to the corner. I see (Y/n) sitting on the ground, tying a bouquet of roses together and putting them aside. I made my way to her, being careful not to step on anything.

"Hola, chica," I whispered. She perked up and turned to see me. She smiled and stood up to greet me with open arms. I quickly went up to her hugged her tightly.

"Woah, a little strong there. What's wrong, Toni?" She asked, pulling away and patting my chest.

I laughed slightly. "I'm so happy you're safe."

She titled her in confusion. "What?"

My eyes made their way towards on the ground. "I had a nightmare... and it's something I never want to happen... I'll explain..." I took hold of her hand.

"Antonio... you..." She started to say but stayed silent instead.

I cupped her face with my hands. "Chica, just know... that, you will always be safe under my watch. No one will hurt you and nothing will harm you."

She smiled. "I appreciate that. More than you can imagine, Toni. Thank you." She said softly.
