chapter fifty four: the main event

Ruby pov:

I wake up hearing the alarm so I got up texting alex to move the flight to 4:00 so we dont have to get ready fast.

I put down my phone covering my body with the blanket from what we did earlier this morning and I turn to Demi.

"Babe wake up we got to head out. Our flight leaves at 4:00." I shake her alittle to wake up and she groan turning around to face me and she open her eyes.

"I thought our flights at 3:00." She whispered tired and I kiss her forehead.

"I know but I want us to get ready without rushing in to it. So up because I know you miss the kids as much as i do so come on." I brought my hand to her cheek carresing it with my thumb.

"Okay." She said tired getting up while walking in the bathroom naked and I shake my head with a smirk thinking of last night's event.

So We got ahead and finish getting ready by 3:30am and we finally left to catch our flight.

"Baby do you think the kids should be up by Now?" Demi asked leaning her head on my shoulder tired.

"I'm not sure baby let's face time merrisa since she is watching the kids with my parents too." I said taking out my tablet and I went on Skype and I called merrisa first and she finally answered on the 5th ring.

"Hey guys what's up?" Merrisa answered tired and we she from the background she was on the bed and what looks like we just woke her up.

"Sorry merrisa we just wanted to call and see if the kids where up. What time is it there?" Demi asked trying to stay awake.

"It's okay and right now it's 8:30am and the kids should be up right now with ruby's parents. Hold on." She said getting up on the bed carrying the tablet or her phone outside of the room to what seems like our kitchen and she was right I see my little Xavier on his chair while mom was feeding him and I see Sammy eating pancakes.

"Guess who wanted to check up on you guys?" Merrisa said to the kids and Sammy turn to her with a smile and smiled even bigger when she saw the screen with us on the front.

"Mommy!! Mamma!." Sammy said excited seeing us and merrisa gave the thing to her.

"Hey princess I hope you listened to papa, nana and aunt Rissa." I said and she smiled giving me a nod.

"Yeah momma we are. Are you almost home yet I miss you Guys." Sammy said sad.

"Awe princess we will be landing in about 2 hours so turn that frown upside down okay." I said making her smile.

"I love baby okay. And will see you soon." I said and Demi said bye to her too.

"Love you too." She said giving me and Demi a blow kiss and we smiled giving it to her as well.

I hang up closing the tablet and I hear demi breathing peacefully next to me so I knew she fell asleep again. So I let her take her rest on the ride to our private plain.

We finally arrived right when it was 5 minutes till 4:00 and Demi woke up once the car stopped moving.

We walked up the stairs to the private plain and we walked towards the seats and we sat down with demi sitting next to me with her head on my shoulder.

She took out her phone and she went to her Instagram and she put it on camera and she switched it to the front camera and we saw both of our faces.

"Babe." She said smiling at the camera so I smiled too and she took the picture.

"Awe I love it." She said looking at the picture and she placed it on her story. Than she put it on live and I smiled.
