chapter twenty nine: christmas gifts

We finish our breakfast at the cafe we were at and sammy fell asleep. So i carried her while demi calls max her bodyguard if he was here.

"Babe max is out front waiting with jesse." demi said coming towards me and i nodded holding my daughter on one hand and i brought my other hand around demis waist.

"Lets go home." i said walking out of the cafe to see max and jesse clearing our way to my car.

I put sammy at the back of the seat and i put her seat belt on. I would lay her down but the road is to slippery and you might never know what might happen. So safety first.

Once i was done making sure my daughter was okay i speed walk towards the driver side and went in.

"Ready to go home babe?" demi asked once i start the car. And i smiled and taking her hand and i kissed the promise ring that i gave her.

"Yeah lets go home." i said driving off from the cafe.

"God im happy notting happen to our daughter ruby. I dont know what would happen if something happen to my princess." demi said wanting to cry. And i took the left turn.

"Babe everything is fine now. We found our daughter safe and sound okay and we will make sure something like this wont happen again. So dont stress out to much because its not good for the baby." i said rubbing her still flat stomach and i turn to look at the road.

"Your right. But we are still going to talk to her babe when she wakes up." demi said taking my hand to hold.

"Of course love we will talk to her." i said driving in to our home.

I off the car and walked out to sammy door and open it. Than i carried her and demi close the door.

"Lets bring her to her room and can you turn down the AC in her room babe." demi said walking up the stairs with me following her.

"Okay." i said going in sammys room and i put her in her bed tucking her in.

Demi went to sit on the bed next to her daughter and i went to the other side of the room to turn the AC down in her room to keep her warm. Than i walk back to where demi was at and i stood behind her with my hand on her sholder.

"What are you thinking beautiful?" i asked kissing the top of her head and i looked at my peaceful daughter sleep.

"Nothing just thinking how great my life is with you guys in it." she said kissing sammys forehead and i did the same too.

"Yeah our life is great isnt it?" i said taking her hand walking out of sammys room going downstairs to the kitchen area.

"You know i wanted to ask you about your hair last night but i didnt have a chance to ask. But when did you color it?" demi asked sitting on the stool while i made us some hot chocolate.

"I colored it greenish color for the movie im playing in. Remember vin asked me to play the role of the bad ass girl in the movie." i said giving her a cup and sat next to her drinking mine.

"Ohh yeah you told me couple of week ago. So your going to do it?" she asked looking at her phone while drinking her drink.

"I mean... I love action movies and the part where i can be the bad ass chick in the movie." i smirked looking on my tablet and demi chuckled.

"Well you are pretty bad ass babe." demi said smirking and i laughed.

"You know it. You want to see the trailer to the movie?" i asked going on YouTube searching for the trailer.
