chapter thirty: dinner at aunt place! part 1

Ruby pov:****

Its 10:00 in the morning and im at work with my daughter while her mommy is at work.

I was sitting down at my desk looking on some papers and trying to finalize some stuff. While my daughter at the other hand is having fun coloring on a small desk next to me.

"Momma?" sammy calls for my attention so i stopped what i was doing and looked at her smiling.

"Yes princess." i asked sweetly.

"Can i have something eat please. Im hungry." she asked sweetly and i smiled nodding my head.

"Of course princess." i said picking up the phone telling jared to get me happy meal from McDonald than i hang up the phone.

"The food will be here princess in 10 minutes so be patient okay." i said to her and she nodded.

"Okay momma i can wait." she smiled going back to her coloring and i smiled going back to doing my work.

A few minutes later the door to my office open and i knew it was jared because he is the only one allowed to come in without knocking.

"Hey princess guess who got you happy meal." jared said happily while sammy sqealed running towards jared and hugged him.

"Hi uncle jared!" sammy said hugging him tight and jared laughed hugging her too.

"Hey sammy. Heres your order that you asked for." jared said giving sammy her food and sammy smiles.

"Thank you uncle jared! You want to eat with me?" sammy asked kindly and i smiled because my daughter is very thoughtful.

"Im fine princess. Uncle jared just ate but you can have everything for yourself." jared said kissing her forhead and sammy nodding going back to her seat and i went up to her bending down fixing her food in front of her.

"Hey ruby you have someone on line two for you." jared said while im fixing my daughters food.

"Okay can you take the call and tell them to hold on for a second while i help my daughter fix her food." i said opening the sauce for the nuckets.

"Okay." jared said getting the phone in my office to answer the call to talk to whoever wnts to talk to me. And once i was done fixing my daughters food i wipped my hand with the napkin and i went back to my desk where jared saw me and gave me the phone. I brought it to my ear.

"Hello this is ruby speaking." i said professionally.

"Well hello there my niece." i heard aunt Julian at the other line and i smiled.

"Hey aunt Julian. Whats up?" i asked sitting back down on my chair.

"Well i was woundering if my niece and her small family can come and have dinner with my family because someone didnt bother to visit when she moved to LA." she said jokingly but i hear alittle seriousness in her voice.

"Yeah... Sorry about that. But sure we can come by tonight and have dinner with you guys." i said looking back on my papers.

"Okay great! Your nephew and niece with be happy to see you. Expecially Lu." aunt Julian said laughing so i laughed too.

"Yeah i miss them too. And dont tell them im coming because i want to suprise them." i said smiling while looking at sammy enjoying her nuckets.

"Okay i wont tell them. I love you sweety ill see you later tonight." she said happily and i smiled happily.

"I love you too auntie. Ill see you tonight." i said and she said bye back and i hang up the phone.

So i went back to do my work and jared left because he had work to do as well.
