chapter sixty two: first live for the new song

Demi pov:

    Right now im on my way to the arena that held the performances. I took the kids with me since ruby had to leave early in the morning because of an important meeting that will take close to five to six hours the most and right now its 4:00 in the afternoon and i wont perform till 8:00. max parked backstage and I see other people here to perform since im not the only one. 

I got out of the car holding Xavier and Sammy came out after me standing next to me holding my hand. she was wearing kinda the same thing as I am and that is a pair of black skinny jeans with white button up shirt. than for Xavier he wore simple blue jeans and white plain shirt since its hot today. 

we followed max towards our own room in one of the trailers so we can wait till its my turn to go up and perform and all my people that gets me ready like my make up and clothes are already in waiting for me to start and I went ahead and got ready while the kids sat on the couch waiting for me to finish getting ready than the door open seeing ruby coming in wearing her famous suite with a vest because its to hot today. 

"hey baby." she greeted me with a kiss after she checked up on the kids and I smiled looking at her through the mirror.

"hey baby. how was the meeting?" I asked looking through my twitter while every now and than ill look up at her and she smiled sitting in between the kids checking what they where up to.

"it was fine babe. im just happy I made it before you went on stage. I didn't want to miss anything since its going to be your first time singing the song to your fans since they haven't heard from you in a while." she said to me which I sighed understanding what she was telling me.

"yeah." I said to her and we continue talking till the time for max to come in to tell me that it was time for my performances. and I nodded finishing off my tea and I gave my family a kiss before I walked out of the room towards the stage.

I walked out on stage and my fans starts screaming for me and I smiled at them waling towards the mic stand in the middle of the stage and I face the audience with a smile and I started the first performance.

I ended the song with so much emotion because they all sang the whole thing with me and I heard every word of it.

"you guys are amazing. you have no idea how much all of you guys mean to me. you guys been with me all through my career to all of my personal problems which you never think of me differently and you stood by me while I got back up. for that im thankful for you guys." I said through the mic and they screamed even more which gave me a smile on my face. I went ahead and did some more performances from the new album.

I walked backstage after the second to the last performances to take 5 minute brake to drink water and to check on my family which where standing on the side of the stage smiling towards me and I smiled standing in front of them giving all a kiss and I drank some water.

"ready Demi to the last song of the night?" Phil asked and I sighed nodding and ruby held my hand giving me a smile which I smiled back.

the screen on the stage starts playing from the video for the song and I walked towards the piano to sit and once it hit the cue to play the piano and start playing sober.
