Ink's POV

I'd like to say that things got better.
It didn't.
In fact, I'd almost say it got worse.
Error still had to sit next to me in two classes, and that doesn't help anything at all. Now, whenever I walk down the hallway, whispers pick up around me. I've been trying to ignore it, but it's kinda hard to.
"That's the kid who has to put up with Error. I hear he's in all of his classes."
"No he isn't!"
"It's a miracle he hasn't been hurt yet."
"Error actually talked to him earlier! I saw it! In second period!"
"What? No way!"
"Yes way!"
"Think Error actually likes this one?"
"What? Impossible. Error has been treating him like an outcast for the whole week."
"And then randomly just asks for his help? No. I heard that he hated someone so much last year, he broke his arm!"
"What? No!"
"That's what I said!"
Wait, he broke someone's arm? Yeesh.
But that's not my point.
The problem is I still don't know why. Sure, he asked for my help during class. Yeah, I was surprised too, but I don't think that's a bad thing. Other people think that means something.
I doubt it.
And anyways, it was just like during the project. Monotonous and bland voice, and he just turned around afterwards as if nothing has happened.
I still have no clue what made him so distant. And not just to me, but to everyone!
Except...
Fell!
There isn't any other person I know that knows him better.
Maybe if I talk to him, he'll tell me something. I don't know how, but... I've got to try. It would be better if I talked to Fell without Error being there, I thought. Fell never leaves Error's side. Except in between first and second period. They have different classes then, and Fell always has to leave before him.
Maybe.

Two days later, people had stopped whispering. They were just... staring. I felt very uncomfortable. Then, instead of Blue and Dream, three random ninth graders I didn't know ran up to me. Their expressions were shockingly worrisome, as if I were about to die.
Well, not exactly.
"You're Ink, right?" One of them asked quickly. Me, although totally confused, nodded slowly, giving the boy a strange look. He was a small dinosaur kid that had... no arms? There was a boy next to him, a small goat child that I recognized as Principal Toriel's son, Asriel. He looked just as scared as the small ghost next to him, who was barely visible.
"Yo!" The dinosaur kid said suddenly, startling me. "Error's bad news, bro! You should stay away from him!"
You think I have much of a choice?
"Y-yeah..." Asriel stammered. "I-I know what it's like. I-I saw one of the kids he hurt, too... His arm was broken... I didn't expect him to target new kids that quickly..."
Target?
Hmm...
The ghost kid just nods.
I just kinda stand there awkwardly as they continue to spit out random rumors left and right. Then I heard a voice from behind me.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-"
I turned quickly to see Dream running straight towards me, a determined look on his face.
"Shoo! Go! Ink's had enough of you two!" He uses his hands and makes swatting motions to swat them away like flies. They scream, then run away laughing. The ghost kid just disappears, and I hear a sigh and a small "sorry..."
When the kids are gone, Dream puts his hands on his hips and pouts.
"Stupid rumor-spreading ninth graders! Think they can do whatever they want now that they're in high school? Try messing with the student council again, they won't see it coming!"
I see Blue run up from behind him. He's yelling in random spurts.
"Are you alright? What happened? They're gone, right?"
Dream smiles confidently. "Yup. If I see them screwing around, I swear I will stick them in detention for spreading false rumors!"
I laugh.
But I can't help but feel like they're right.

Hi guys!
This was a kinda short chapter, but whatever.
Sorry I haven't added a lot of Error in the last few chapters. I dunno why, I guess he's dormant right now for being "the one in question."
XD really tho I have no clue what to do next. The ideas were there and then BOOM! Gone. I don't know. I might not post a chapter tomorrow but I'll try. And anyways, I can't believe I took so long to just post a chapter today! I'm really not in my zone at the moment. I've got no clue what to do next, so give me time.
Hope you're enjoying it so far!
