Error's POV

I know that I act as if it's no big deal every time Fell has to leave early to make it to his second class.
I know that I act as if I don't care that people spread rumors about me and my best friend.
"I bet he's faking it. I bet he knows they aren't real friends at all!"
"I bet he felt sorry for the glitch no one wanted!"
I know I act as if I don't care what people think of me.
I don't.
But I sure as Hell used to.

Ink's POV

Where's Blue and Dream? I could have sworn I saw them twenty minutes ago...
I was wandering around the halls after school looking for my friends. They were no where to be seen, and I still had no clue where I was going!
Dammit Ink! You've been here for what, two weeks? You should have seen the whole campus by now!
I honestly have no clue how I'm lost, but I am. I find my way outside and try looking out there. I wanted to show them a cool little thing I made in art class, but now I was worried about not just finding where they were, but where I was.
Oh boy.

Error's POV

In ninth grade, I was a horrible person. I'm not even afraid to say it anymore, because nothing had changed. I was still the same disheveled, ferocious kid I was a year ago. I had such a small temper, anything bad said about me or Fell would get a punch to the face. People called me the bully, but I never believed them. The only reason I was hurting other students was because they were talking badly about us, whether it be behind our backs or not. So I always saw them as the bigger bully. But tenth grade ran around, and things had only seemed to get worse. Now it wasn't just talking about what I did, but it was also what I didn't. Rumors about punching turned into breaking people's arms. And the coincidence that someone in my class had a broken arm only made matters worse.
Fell stuck with me because he was the only one who understood what I meant. He didn't turn against me because it was happening to him too.
Then enter Ink. The new kid with the chance for new beginnings. That was what I had wanted for the longest time, but never got.
I didn't expect him to walk up to me with such enthusiasm. I thought he was kidding. I didn't know what to do. To want new beginnings and just toss them away, it felt horrible. It stayed in the back of my mind, but I rue the day I missed that chance. I didn't even see it coming.

Ink's POV

It's been over an hour now. Blue and Dream are still MIA. I'm still lost. I have no idea where I'm going.
I haven't seen a single student since I walked outside. Maybe I should go back in, I think to myself. I tried looking for a door to let myself in, but I couldn't see one. I continued to look for one, so I walked along the building until I found something.
Anything.

Error's POV

The project didn't make things any better.
Yeah, that's right. I was still being absolute ass to Ink.
Yes, I just started thinking about this.
Pretty cliché if you ask me. But really, I felt like a jerk.
When Ink asked if Fell was my only friend, I exploded. And now that I look back at it, I couldn't have made things worse.
So now that I'd thought about it, I felt the need to communicate with him a little more. To learn more about him, and more importantly(and hopefully), vise versa.
Sounds really sappy, I know. But I didn't know what else to do.
Unfortunately, that only seemed to drag Ink under the bus with me. People started to spread rumors about him too. And to make matters worse, I haven't had a chance to speak, let alone apologize to Ink. I'm afraid if I did, people would take that as... something else.

Ink's POV

WHERE IS THAT GOD DAMNED DOOR? I swear, this place is gigantic!

Aha! There's the front!

Error's POV

I was making my way to the school doors to wait for Fell to get out of the Student Council meeting after school. Student Council was the only place people didn't judge him for anything. Most of the people there were nice, and non-related to any of the rumors. I was fairly nice to most of them, for Fell's sake. I thought it was pretty geeky, but that was basically the definition of Fell.
No one else was here, but Fell said it would be better to wait for him outside. I made my way to the front, unaware of anyone on the opposite side of the door.
As I opened it up, some other force seemed to come from the other side.
Without a chance to react, I knocked straight into the person coming in.
It was Ink.
