Justin's POV

Knowing we didn't have a lot of time before Nicole went public with her side of the story meant Madelyn's interview had to be soon. Scooter knew that, so he came over to talk to us the next morning before he took the kids to school.

"What have you two decided?" He asked as he and Maggie sat down at the dining room table with us. Madelyn gave them both bowls of cereal and sat down beside me.

"Find me someone to interview me. I'm doing a tell-all. It'll spin the story around and make Justin look a lot better than if Nicole tells her side of the story."

"Brilliant." Scooter smiled. I kicked him under the table. "I mean, are you sure you're okay with that?"

"I'm fine." She gave me a warning glare. "Let me do this, Scooter. I need to do this for Justin. I've put him through so much already. I can't be the reason his career ends."

"Oprah, Barbara Walters and Katie Couric called a couple of weeks ago requesting an interview. But you had just woken up and I thought it was too soon. I'm sure we can get one of those back. Who do you want me to try first?"

Madelyn's POV

"Aniston! If you don't get your butt down here to pick up your dance stuff, you're done with dance! Forever!" I yelled up the stairs. I was frantically trying to clean our house. Oprah's film crew would be here any second and the house was still a mess. Just yesterday we had called Oprah, and now she was ready to do it.

"Mads, calm down. If the windows aren't perfectly clear and the toilet seats aren't sparkling, I don't think Oprah is going to care."

"I care." I huffed, knowing it was just my nerves coming out. I didn't know why I was nervous. I had been on television for seven years. I knew how to walk around questions that I didn't want to answer. Yet, I was freaking out.

An hour later, Oprah's film crew had set up shop in our living room, dining room and deck. Her producer had decided that instead of just focusing on my attack, we would just focus on our entire family. Since we hadn’t ever done an interview like this before, people were anxious to know what it was like to be a Bieber.

“Hello Bieber family!” Oprah yelled as she walked through our front door. The cameras were already rolling, so I just prayed the kids would realize how big of a deal this was. After introducing her to the kids, Justin and I sat down in the living room together with her.

“What is a day in your life like?” She started the interview off swiftly, not wasting anytime.

“Tiring?” Justin and I both said at the same time. “But great.” I added quickly.

She asked us some simple background questions about our relationship, most of which was already known to the public, before she moved on to questions regarding the kids.

“Do you regret getting pregnant before you were married?” Justin looked at me, letting me answer.

“No. I knew I was going to marry Justin no matter what. I wasn’t scared he was going to run as soon as I told him.” I laughed. “We just did things a little out of order.”

“You were both the products of wedlock, and then your daughter was born out of wedlock. Would you be mad if history repeated itself with one of your kids?”

“Yes.” Justin said firmly. “They aren’t dating or getting married until they are at least thirty. Marriage will definitely be coming before any babies.” I rolled my eyes, laughing at how serious he was. I hoped he would come around when the kids reached that age, because I felt bad if they had to deal with his overprotective rules.
