Nothing Makes Sense
Ashley closed the door to her Prius, and walked up to Lucy's front porch. She rang the bell. Almost immediately, Troian opened it for her. The rest of the girls were sitting in the living room, Sasha in the love seat. Ashley plopped down on a red beanbag.
"You won't believe what I just heard," Lucy said.
"What?" asked Shay.
"I heard Kristen talking on her cell with somebody. She was talking about revenge and stuff. It sounds a lot like she's A."
"Kristen's A?!" Troian shrieked. "No way."
"Why is that so hard to believe?" Shay challenged.
"We're friends," Troian concluded. "We always sit and room together when we have an out of state game."
"But she could be fake friending you," Ashley pointed out. "Just to grill you for more information."
Troian shook head. "Impossible."
"Well, anything's possible," Sasha said. "We can't disclude anyone."
"Oh, and do you have that picture of Tim?" Ashley asked.
"Oh yeah!" Sasha perked up. "I found an old Instagram post." She pulled out her phone to show to them.
Ashley leaned in close to see. That face looked kind of familiar from somewhere, but where? She turned to Shay. Her mouth was hanging wide open, and she was pointing to the picture.
"Who's that?" Ashley asked.
Shay didn't answer, instead collapsing to the floor.
"Shay?!" Ashley cried. "Are you okay?"
Shay didn't answer. Lucy put her ear to Shay's mouth. "Omigod guys, she's not breathing! Someone call 911!"
Troian pulled out her cell, and hit the digits 911. Her hands shook. "Help!" Troian screamed. "My friend just collapsed. She's not breathing! Come to 7984 Moss Lane."
"It's going to be okay," Ashley repeated over and over again, although she didn't believe herself.
