Chapter Four
Mac's POV
I woke up in Stiles' room again. It seemed like this was gonna be routine. He woke up screaming again, and I comforted him back to sleep. The alarm from my phone going off in my room woke me up, surprisingly woke Stiles up too.
"Hey, did you sleep in here?" He asked.
"Yeah sorry, I fell asleep after you calmed down." I said with a blush climbing out the bed.
"It's okay, I'm not used to waking up to a hot girl in my bed." He said with a smirk. I let out a quick laugh. "You've been sleeping in here for a while haven't you?"
"Ever since the nightmares started. After you calm down enough to go to sleep, I end up passing out." I explain, waiting for him to have a burst of anger.
"Well thanks, for comforting me and all." He said with a slight smile.
"No problem. What are friends for?" I said and shrugged my shoulders, heading to my room. I got dressed, made coffee, and headed to pick up Isaac.
"We need an abuse buddies meeting right now." I said as soon as he got in the car.
"Agreed." He said, buckling in. We frequently did this. Seeing as Isaac and I bonded over our mutual terrible childhoods, we could talk to each other about everything. So if one of us needed to talk, we'd call a meeting.
"I got it bad." I said to him.
"Stiles?" He asked.
"Stiles." I confirmed, "What am I going to do? That idiot is always there and I don't know what to do."
"What do you mean? He obviously never got over you and vise-versa, act on it. Get you a spaz." Isaac said.
"But what about Derek? I still love him, what if he comes back?" I ask.
"We'll deal with it when it comes to it. Now it's my turn." Isaac said, "I like Allison a lot, but I'm afraid to act on it."
"Why? Cause Scott?" I ask.
"Yes. He's my alpha and I'm living in his house. I don't want to make him hate me and kick me out cause then I won't have anywhere to go."
"Isaac, Scott isn't gonna do that to you. You are his friend, even if he is angry that you're dating his ex." I said, pulling into the student parking lot. I parked the car and looked at my best friend. He had a hesitant look on his face.
"Are you sure?" Isaac asked.
"Yes positive. If he tries, I'll beat some sense into him. Now get your girl." I said to him. He gave me a smile and pulled me into a hug. We climbed out and went our separate ways.
I later met up with Scott and Stiles and headed to our economics class with Coach. Stiles was staying unusually quiet, like he was zoned out. Scott and I just looked at each other concerned. In the middle of class, Coach brought my attention back to Stiles.
"Stilinski are you paying attention back there?" Coach asked, I turned my head toward Stiles who was writing something frantically in his notebook. Scott and I shared another concerned glance. "Stilinski!"
Stiles didn't answer, so Coach started blowing his incessant whistle. Stiles shot up with a gasp. "Stilinski!"
"Uh-huh?" Stiles responded to the obnoxious man.
"I asked you a question." Coach said in anger.
"Uh, sorry Coach. What was it?" Stiles asked.
"Oh, it was 'Stilinski, are you paying attention back there'?" Coach said with the sass he was known for.
