"not caring is easier

  because caring means it matters

and if it matters it means you have something to lose

and having something to lose makes you powerless." - but it is not a choice.

"i have an issue with this generation, my generation.

hiding ourselves, hiding our feelings behind screens.

  lack of honesty between individuals,

because we are protected by the rectangles we hold so close to our hearts.

this is why we struggle with the face to face.

this is why our mind carries itself away.

this is why our feelings are bottled up.

because they contained in the electrical void.

  how do i know this?

because i am part of the problem,

we all are." - glowing screens // fading hearts.

09:35

'you're not like other girls,' you say.

what is this supposed to mean?

is that your shitty attempt at a compliment?

how is that supposed to make me feel good?

 what are 'other girls' like?

 how am i unlike them?

why do i need to be different to them?

 i wonder...

am i the first girl you have uttered this to? - we are incomparable because we are one.

11:15

"let's get drunk on the air of the midnight sky

running down the streets that we grew up in

  laughing

  reminiscing

  loving

just us two." - because we are young.

20:26

"your words laced the glass of your lips

and i drank up the poison of your voice." - bewitched.

"enough of this dancing around,

let's switch off and get personal." - 4125.

Note

this one is day or two late and pretty short, but it's what i have after a very busy week. i might just do uploads every two weeks now depending on how much i can write and if i have time to write because my deadlines are creeping up on me and i can't really ignore them anymore. this song to go with this chapter is watch by billie eilish. i recently discovered her via spotify and i just love the tone of her voice in this song, so imma share with you.
