In the pov of Rei

I looked after Mei's fleeting back as she disappeared through the sliding door.

I fell back to the bed and sighed loudly. I felt my body and face getting hotter and cursed, slightly embarrassed for what happened.

How did she end up on the bed with me? How can I be so thoughtless in my sleep? But she did have a point. I really need to get working to find Ken.

I stood up, wrapped a yukata loosely on, and took my phone. Then, I summoned Kitamura and went to sit at my table.

I closed my eyes and massaged my head. Then, when I heard the door open, I looked up with my most severe eyes, and Kitamura flinched slightly as he saw me.

"You summoned me." I nodded to him and gestured for him to get inside and to close the door.

"It's about Ken. I need to find him. I promised Mei I would. That man Chou, I sent Ken to get rid of him, and that's the job he disappeared on. I was hoping you could go with your men and tough that guy a little. He probably has something to do with Ken's disappearance."

He bowed as I finished talking.

"Your word is my command, sir. I'll toughen that guy up and find out if he knows anything. Do I have your permission to use violence?"

I sighed.

"I don't care in the least about what happens to that guy. I would appreciate him disappearing, but let's not hurt him, at least not badly. Threaten him, show him he shouldn't play around with us. No one can go against me in this country without consequences, and you need to tell him that. Also, tell him to stay the hell away from Mei. She's my fiancé."

Kitamura bowed deep once more and left the room.

In the pov of Kitamura

I gathered all of my direct underlings that weren't busy with something else at the moment and prepared to leave.

Twenty men in total. All equipped suitable for a fight with both blades and guns.

We prepared the cars, and the others had already left the house and waited outside. I was just about to go and accompany them when someone called my name from behind with a questioning tone.

"Kitamura? Oh yeah, it is you. Going on a job?" I turned around and smirked as I saw him.

He was standing there nonchalantly with a sniper rifle case on his back. He was wearing a suit with a loose tie. His usual black hair is all messy.

I smiled and walked to him.

"I didn't know you were back from America already, T." He smiled broadly.

"Yeah, I just got back this morning. I was chatting with the boss and heading to my room when I saw you. Also, I was just getting my new baby, so there was no reason to stay for too long even though I have to admit the Maggadino family knows how to treat a quest."

He caressed the case on his back.

"Maggadino? You were at Richardo's place?" He nodded.

"Yeah, I wasn't supposed to go there at first, but we met at the airport by chance, and he invited me over, but where were you going? That's quite the amount of men."

My face darkened a little.

T is a higher stance follower, just like Ken and I. He is in charge of his own requiem. He deserves to know what's going on with Ken.
